The EditorAmy Anderson grew up locally and has fond memories of spending weekends browsing local shops and visiting cafes with her family. Her favourite place as a youngster was Toys Galore on Morningside Road!
She attended Boroughmuir High School before pursuing a journalism career. After taking a year out from studying to build up some work experience, she went on to complete a BA Honours degree in Journalism from Edinburgh Napier University in June 2012.
Amy continues to work as a freelance music and theatre critic for a number of print and online publications and covers events all over Scotland.

Morningside Living is a community lifestyle magazine whose aim is to enrich the lives of local people by educating and informing them of events, services and businesses in the area.
The publication, produced by local residents, enables affordable advertising for Morningside businesses and seeks to promote local produce, innovation and enterprise wherever possible.

The success of our magazine so far indicates a clear desire among Morningsiders for a quarterly lifestyle magazine featuring entertaining and informing content, with delivery of the publication to both local residents (door-to-door) and business premises.
Many business premises make Morningside Living available for public display so that visitors and customers can browse through the latest local lifestyle guide or take a copy home with them. The total number of copies distributed among homes and businesses is 7,000.
