This brochure is meant for architects, engineers and other professionals in the fi eld that, while designing, have to choose the right suspension equipment to make the most of the lighting environment. If required, IFF de-velops with them customized and turnkey solutions with the most advanced and sophisticated products for any specifi c architectural purpose.

Servicing down lights in auditoriums and lobbies often goes hand in hand with operating aerial working plat-forms over uneven surfaces around unmovable objects. In many cases scaffoldings have to be put up over seats for a high-reach job such as re-lamping architectural lighting fi xtures.

Our solution: The IFF Combi Hoist with up to a 59 foot/18m long aluminum connector strip for multiple down lights con-verts a time-consuming and costly task into an easy and sim-ple service job on the ground level.

The combination of staircases and high ceilings makes it almost impossible to service installed lighting fi xtures.

Our Solution: The IFF Combi Hoist is the answer for this service night-mare. Lower the lighting fi xture with a simple push on a button to perform service whenever it is required with-out any climbing.

Service & Re-lamping it’s as simple as that!

Our Solution: Each hoist can be lowered via a wall control panel or hand-held remote control. The hoist movement stops automatically when lighting fi xture reaches its service or home position.

Our Solution: The IFF Hoist for chandeliers are available with a disconnect coupler for the lighting circuits or an integrated electrical cable to energize the chandelier also in its service position. With a chandelier hoist changing bulbs will be a simple service routine.

To light large spaces, halls, auditoriums and lobbies the lighting equipment has to be installed on precise but often hard-to-access points which often makes service and over-haul an insolvable maintenance task. The presence of permanent installed seating, interior decora-tion, staircases and other archi-tectural elements make these operations very diffi cult, some-times even impossible to perform with traditional lifting equipment such as aerial working platforms, scaffoldings, etc. It is neces-sary to use motorized lighting supports, which, in many cases, come with a bulky and visually unattractive cable management system.

Our Solution: IFF has developed an electric disconnection system that eliminates bulky equipment normal-ly needed to handle the electrical cables during lowering the lighting fi xture. The IFF power disconnect is available for the entire line of mo-torized IFF products and is easy to adapt to already-existing systems.

High lighting grids and frequent set changes in television studios implies the installation of manual and motorized suspensions to fa-cilitate a quick and easy change of lighting sets.

Our solution: The wide range of IFF manual and motorized suspensions fulfi l any expectation and meet the toughest demands of operation in TV and fi lm studios. IFF products go from simple manual pantographs to the most advanced and sophisti-cated motorized hoists and include a comprehensive product line of rails, carriages, brackets and ac-cessories.

Make it safe for students to learn the magic of lighting de-sign and the use of modern stage machinery. High ceilings over the stage area and the need to set performance lights and scenery objects on different levels require a fl exible and easy to use motorized rigging system.

Our Solution: IFF Stage Hoists for Stage lighting and scenery make climbing ladders or working on aerial working platforms mandatory. With a safe working load of 1600 Lbs/730kg the IFF Stage Hoists supports up to a 50 foot/15m long lighting batten with 48 lighting circuits.
