TRAIL TIPS & INFORMATION
Mountain biking and hiking can be dangerous. It is up to each individual to know his or her limits, abilities and level of expertise before attempting any outdoor activity. Please understand that trail use can be a hazardous activity that has risks, including injury or death. Travel at your own risk.
Although every attempt has been made to verify the accuracy of all trail information, it is the responsibility of the user to use common sense and good judgment by interpreting and using the information to safely enjoy the trails.
Before heading out on Mountain View Trails we highly recommend that you have a cell phone, bottled water, sunscreen, bug spray, seasonal clothing and appropriate footwear. The trails can be muddy so we recommend closed toed shoes or boots. Be aware of potential changes in weather conditions and plan accordingly.
The trail system is used for both hiking and mountain biking, so please share the trail.
For your safety, stay on the trails. The trail system is marked to prevent getting lost. In an emergency, or if you need assistance, please call the resort at 603.837.2100. Be prepared to provide the trail number you are on.
While on the trails, you may run into some of our North Country wildlife, including deer, moose, turkeys, beavers, foxes, porcupines, or bears. While fascinating to see and photograph, remember you are in their habitat and wild animals will act accordingly. Please keep a safe distance and do not approach.
Looking for a short and easy route for trail running or biking? The Farm Road is 0.75 miles long and begins at the back of the resort parking lot. This makes for a nice 1.5 mile route to the end and back, which is perfect for your morning run or for younger cyclists who may not be quite ready for the wooded trails. Along the way, you will pass Mountain View Farm.
