Ambition can be positive in the sense it pushes you to achieve your goals. However, it can also

become negative when it turns into an obsession and you end up doing whatever it

takes to achieve the goal.

Conclu s ion

Ambition, as everything in life, has its positive side. However,

when it is taken to an extreme it can become negative. The different characters in both stories exemplify the polarity of ambition. Each of them

tried to do something good (even if the best results only help the doer), but in the same way, all the characters also show the toxic side of ambition,

which lead us to discuss this idea of lying and going over other people to achieve a goal.
