Uno degli architetti più famosi di inizio ‘900, lo svizzero Charles-Edouard Jeanneret- Gris meglio conosciuto con lo pseudonimo di Le Corbusier, descrisse le Dolomiti come l’architettura naturale più bella al mondo.
Ed è proprio alle Dolomiti, alla loro maestosità e vitalità che abbiamo dedicato una delle grandi novità dell’estate 2015: Dolomites Faces al Boè/Vallon. Un gioco dove creatività e immaginazione la faranno da padrone.
A monte della seggiovia Vallon presso i 3 punti d’osservazione dedicati al Dolomites Faces, potrete ammirare il massiccio del Sella che tra la sua bellezza e le sue mille sfumature nasconde i personaggi delle leggende ladine: Re Laurin, Edl de Net, Spina de Mul y Salvan vi stanno osservando!

Einer der berühmtesten Architekten aus den ersten Jahren des 20. Jahrhunderts, der Schweizer Charles-Edouard Jeanneret-Gris - besser bekannt unter den Namen Le Corbusier - beschrieb die Dolomiten als „schönste natürliche Architektur der Welt“.
Ins Zeichen der Dolomiten, mit ihrer Erhabenheit und Lebenskraft, haben wir auch eine der größten Neuheiten 2015 gestellt: Dolomites Faces am Boè/Vallon. Es handelt sich um ein Spiel, bei dem Fantasie und Kreativität erfordert werden.
An der Bergstation der Vallon-Bahn sind 3 Aussichtspunkte angelegt, von denen aus man das beeindruckende Sellamassiv genau betrachten kann: In seinen unzähligen Facetten versteckt sich so manche Figur aus den Sagen Ladiniens! So schauen etwa König Laurin, Edl de Net, Spina de Mül und Salvan auf uns herab.
Bänke und Tische bieten den Kindern die Möglichkeit, die zwischen den Felswänden gefundenen Gesichter zu zeichnen und zu malen und ihrer Fantasie freien Lauf zu lassen. Währenddessen können es sich die Erwachsenen auf den Holzliegen bequem machen und sich ebenfalls der Herausforderung des Suchspiels stellen.

And the Dolomites, with their majesty and vitality, are the focus of one of the big new attractions for summer 2015: Dolomites Faces at Boè/Vallon. A game where creativity and imagination take the lead.
From the top of the Vallon chairlift near the 3 viewpoints dedicated to the Dolomites Faces, you can admire the Sella massif whose breathtaking beauty hides the characters of Ladin legends: King Laurin, Edl de Net, Spina de Mul y Salvan are all watching you from the crags!
Next to the benches and tables where children can draw and colour all the faces they spot in the rocks, full of fantasy and imagination, there are comfortable wooden loungers for big kids to relax and join in with the search for faces in the rock.

MOVIMËNT PARKSL’area Movimënt si trova sull’altipiano tra i paesi di La Villa, Corvara e San Cassiano in Alta Badia. Comodamente raggiungibile con gli impianti di risalita, l’area Movimënt si suddivide in 4 zone collegate tra loro da una rete di sentieri facili e piacevoli. Stradine sterrate, ideali per una passeggiata, una pedalata in MTB o per un giro con le E-MTB Trek anche noleggiabili direttamente in quota in uno dei 3 E-MTB Point presenti nei parchi Movimënt.
ACTIVE PARK PIZ LA ILA
Ideale per l’attività fi sica e per l’allenamento di grandi e piccoli. Tanti giochi e strutture dedicate allo sport. Pareti da arrampicata per i più piccoli, un gigantesco pallone gonfi abile su cui saltare e fare le capriole, un’area slackline, Geocaching, tiro con l’arco, zona fi tness ideata per un allenamento completo, percorsi a ostacoli, zona relax e noleggio lettori MP3 con le leggende ladine.
BEAR PARK PIZ SOREGA
È il parco dedicato all’orso, il maestoso animale che popola le foreste. Tanti giochi dove scoprire e imparare le caratteristiche di queste simpatiche creature. Una vera e propria caverna con un gigantesco orso da svegliare. Un particolarissimo minigolf in legno dove solo i più bravi riusciranno a mettere la palla in buca. Scivoli, liane, giochi d’acqua e una zona dedicata agli amanti del fi tness con 4 attrezzi dove allenare addominali, bicipiti quadricipiti e trovare la forma fi sica ideale.
SPAGHETTINO PARK PRALONGIÀ
Il parco dedicato alla natura, con i suoi curiosi percorsi tra fi ori di legno ed enormi ali di farfalle. Un’area dedicata alle meraviglie della natura, per scoprire le sue curiosità e caratteristiche insieme ai simpatici Spaghettino e Spaghettina. Segui le loro indicazioni lungo i sentieri che dal Bear Park e Active Park portano alla casa di Spaghettino.
Das Movimënt-Areal befi ndet sich auf einem Hochplateau über den Dörfern Stern, Corvara und St. Kassian im Hochabteital. Es ist einfach über die Liftanlagen zu erreichen und setzt sich aus 4 Bereichen zusammen, die durch leichte, angenehme Spazierwege miteinander verbunden sind. Diese Kieswege eignen sich optimal für Spaziergänge sowie eine Fahrt mit dem Mountainbike oder Trekking-Bike, die Sie ebenfalls an den 3 E-MTB-Points unserer Movimënt-Parks ausleihen können.
ACTIVE PARK PIZ LA ILA
Ein idealer Ort zum Sporteln und Trainieren für Besucher jeden Alters. Hier warten zahlreiche Spiele und sportliche Einrichtungen auf Sie. Kletterwände für Kinder, Riesen-Hüpfburg für jede Menge Purzelbäume, Slacklines, Geocaching, Bogenschießen, MP3 Player mit den ladinischen Legenden, ein Fitness-Bereich für vollständiges Training, Hindernislauf und Entspannungsbereich sorgen für großes Vergnügen.
BEAR PARK PIZ SOREGA
Der Park, in dem sich alles um einen besonders erhabenen Waldbewohner dreht: den Bären. Es erwarten Sie viele Spiele, wo Sie Interessantes über diese sympathischen Kreaturen erfahren werden. Es gibt sogar eine echte Höhle, in der ein Riesenbär darauf wartet geweckt zu werden. Die völlig einzigartige Minigolfanlage aus Holz lädt dazu ein, sich in Treff sicherheit zu üben. Außerdem sind Rutschen, Lianen und Wasserspiele vorhanden. Im Fitnessbereich kann jeder an 4 Geräten seine Bauchmuskeln, Arme und Oberschenkel trainieren und so in gute Form kommen.
SPAGHETTINO PARK PRALONGIÀ
Dieser der Natur geweihte Park erwartet Sie mit seinen originellen Wegen vorbei an Blumen aus Holz und riesigen Schmetterlingsfl ügeln. In diesem Areal dreht sich alles um die Natur und ihre wundervollen Eigenheiten, die Sie gemeinsam mit den lustigen Begleitern Spaghettino und Spaghettina entdecken werden. Folgen Sie ihren Anweisungen entlang der Wege - und Sie werden vom Bear Park und Active Park bis zu Spaghettinos Haus am Pralongià geführt.

The Movimënt area is located on the plateau between the villages of La Villa, Corvara and San Cassiano in Alta Badia. The park of the Bears, the majestic creatures that live in the forests. There are lots of games to fi nd out all about these incredible animals. A real actual cave with a giant bear to wake up. A very special wooden minigolf where only the best can putt the ball into the hole. Slides, vines, water features and an area dedicated to fi tness fanatics with 4 sets of equipment to train abs, biceps and quadriceps and really get in shape.
SPAGHETTINO PARK PRALONGIÀ
The park dedicated to nature, with its curious paths winding between wooden fl owers and huge butterfl ies wings. An area dedicated to the wonders of nature, to discovering its curiosities and features along with the friendly characters Spaghettino and Spaghettina. Follow their directions along the paths from the Bear Park and the Active Park to get to Spaghettino home at Pralongià.

Associazioni turistiche, da quest’anno è attivo anche l’E-MTB Point a La Val. Potrai noleggiare le E-MTB nell’E-MTB POINT a te più comodo e riconsegnarla
in uno dei sei punti indicati.
E-MTB Sharing has an extra location in Alta Badia this year.In addition to the 5 spots at the cable car stations of Piz la Ila,
Piz Sorega and Col Alt (Movimënt parks) and down the valley in Corvara and La Villa next to tourist information offi ces, this year
there’s also an E-MTB Point in La Val. You can rent the E-bike at the most convenient E-MTB POINT and drop it off at one
of six dedicated locations.

Felice e curiosa! Finalmente si è avverato un sogno; quello di poter viaggiare un po’ in giro per il mondo con i miei sci e tanta bella gente!
Infatti la stagione invernale 2015 è andata alla grande,qual’è stato il momento più bello?
Ci sono stati troppi momenti per sceglierne uno. Dalle sciate e le risate con gli amici al mio primo tirocinio da studente di fi sioterapia in ospedale. A quei pochi giorni di neve polverosa e i bei risultati ottenuti alle gare.
Il prossimo anno vedrai le montagne più belle del mondo,cosa provi quando sei sulla cima, prima della discesa?
Amore. Mi sento grata di essere cresciuta sulle montagne, le bellissime Dolomiti e ogni volta, su ogni cima di qualsiasi montagna mi sento felice e appagata.
Hai giá iniziato la preparazione estiva? Come?
Quando si scioglie la neve, non vedo l’ora di andare a surfare. Mi alleno anche in palestra e poi facendo tutto quello che capita: slackline, trekking, arrampicare.

Glücklich und neugierig! Nun hat sich einer meiner Träume erfüllt, nämlich mit meinen Skiern ein bisschen um die Welt reisen zu können und viele interessante Leute zu treff en.
Ja, die Wintersaison 2015 ist für dich ausgezeichnet gelaufen! Welcher war der schönste Moment?
Da waren zu viele Momente, um mich für einen einzigen zu entscheiden. Schön war das Skifahren und der viele Spaß mit Freunden, aber auch mein erstes Praktikum im Krankenhaus als Physiotherapie-Studentin, die wenigen Tage mit Pulverschnee und die guten Ergenisse bei den Rennen.
Im nächsten Jahr wirst du die schönsten Berge der Welt sehen. Was empfi ndest du, wenn du oben auf dem Gipfel bist und vor der Abfahrt stehst?
Liebe. Ich bin dankbar dafür, in den Bergen – den wunderschönen Dolomiten – aufgewachsen zu sein und jedes Mal, wenn ich auf dem Gipfel irgendeines Berges stehe, fühle ich mich glücklich und erfüllt.
Hast du das Sommertraining schon begonnen und wenn ja, worin besteht es?
Wenn der Schnee schmilzt, kann ich es kaum erwarten Surfen zu gehen. Ich trainiere auch in der Halle und mache außerdem alles Mögliche,von Slacklinen bis Wandern und Klettern.

Classe 1992, si divide tra Corvara in Alta Badia e l’Austria, dove, nei periodi in cui non scia o si allena, frequenta l’università di Innsbruck. Quest’anno è passata da essere la giovane promessa del freeride mondiale, a diventarne il futuro. Lo scorso inverno infatti, grazie a una serie di gare perfette, si è qualifi cata (raggiungendo il punteggio più alto) al Freeride World Tour 2016, il tour di freeride più importante al mondo. Noi l’abbiamo incontrata e ci abbiamo fatto una chiaccherata.
Jahrgang 1992, wohnhaft zwischen Corvara in Alta Badia und Innsbruck. Wenn sie gerade nicht ski fährt oder trainiert, studiert sie an der Universität Innsbruck. In diesem Jahr ist sie von der jungen Hoff nung des internationalen Freeride zu dessen Zukunft aufgestiegen. Im vergangenen Winter hat sie sich nämlich dank einer Reihe perfekt gefahrener Rennen für die Freeride World Tour 2016 (mit der höchsten Punktzahl) qualifi ziert, der wichtigsten Freeride Tour der Welt. Wir haben sie getroff en und uns mit ihr unterhalten.
She was born in 1992 and lives between Corvara in Alta Badia and Austria. When she’s not skiing or training, she studies at the University of Innsbruck in Austria. This year she went from being the young promise of the freeride world, to becoming its future. Last winter, after a series of perfect races, she qualifi ed (with the highest score) for the Freeride World Tour 2016, the biggest freeride tour in the world.
Hello Arianna, let’s start with the future.How do you feel when I say Freeride World Tour 2016?
Really happy and a bit curious! It’s a dream come true; to be able to travel around the world with my skis and meet so many great people!
The 2015 winter season 2015 went really well, what was the best bit?
There were too many to choose just one. Skiing and having fun with friends on my fi rst internship as a physiotherapy student in hospital. Also those few days of powdery snow and the fantastic competition results.
Next year you’ll see the most beautiful mountains in the world, how do you feel when you’re at the top, before you ski down?
I feel love. I feel grateful to have grown up in the mountains, the beautiful Dolomites and every time, on top of any mountain I feel happy and fulfi lled.
Have you already started your summer training? How?
When the snow melts, I can’t wait to go surfi ng. I train in the gym and then I’m
doing everything I can; slackline, trekking, climbing.

Le gare si svolgono lungo un percorso libero che inizia da un cancelletto di partenza sulla cima di un monte e fi nisce con il traguardo a valle. Gli atleti sono liberi di scegliere la linea che preferiscono, senza tuttavia poterla provare prima della gara. All’arrivo sono giudicati da una giuria che assegna loro un punteggio da 0 a 100 basato su 5 criteri di giudizio:

Bei diesem Wettkampf messen sich Skifahrer und Snowboarder in 2 verschiedenen Disziplinen. Die Sportler können die Strecke frei wählen, ohne diese allerdings vor dem Rennen testen zu können. Im Ziel angelangt, werden sie von einer Jury anhand einer Punktzahl zwischen 0 und 100 bewertet, wobei die folgenden 5 Kriterien zählen:

HOW IS A RACE OF FREERIDE WORLD TOUR?
Skiers and snowboarders compete in two separate disciplines. The races take place along a clear path that starts from a starting gate on top of a mountain and ends with the fi nishing line down the valley. Athletes are free to choose the route they want to take, but can’t try it out before the race. On arrival they are judged by a panel that assigns them a score from 0 to 100 based on 5 criteria:

Roberto Pallestrong è un artista e ceramista ladino, di Badia. Nato e cresciuto tra le Dolomiti è amante della natura e dell’arte in ogni sua forma. Con questo progetto presenta sia lavori in ceramica, che incisioni. L’incisione è una tecnica artistica molto antica, (VII secolo a.C.) che consiste in una matrice di metallo che viene incisa con specifi ci attrezzi per poi immergerla nell’inchiostro e premerla sulla carta.
„Kunstkeramiken und Gravierungen“ heißt die Ausstellung, die in der nagelneuen Berghütte Piz Boè Alpine Lounge zu sehen ist (von Corvara aus mit der Umlaufbahn Boè zu erreichen), und zwar vom 1. bis 17. August 2015.
Der ladinische Künstler und Keramikkünstler Roberto Pallestrong stammt aus dem Dorf Abtei. In den Dolomiten geboren und aufgewachsen, liebt er die Natur und die Kunst in all ihren Formen. Mit diesem Projekt zeigt er sowohl Keramiken als auch Gravierungen. Die sehr alte Kunst des Gravierens geht auf das 7. Jh. v. Chr. zurück. Dabei wird eine Metallmatrize mit speziellen Werkzeugen eingeritzt, dann in Tinte getaucht und auf Papier gedruckt.
“Ceramics and etchings by the artist” is the name of the exhibition which will take place in the new Piz Boè Alpine Lounge refuge (accessible by the Boè cable car from Corvara) from 1st August to 17th August 2015.
Roberto Pallestrong is a Ladin artist and ceramist from Badia. Born and raised in the Dolomites he loves nature and art in all its forms. This project exhibits both ceramic works and etchings. Etching is a very old artistic technique (7th century BC) where a metal surface is scratched with specifi c tools and then immersed in ink and pressed onto paper.
