Solar Charge Controller
MPPT solar charge controller is used to correct for detectingthe variations in the current-voltage characteristics of solarcell and shown by I-V curve.
It forces PV module to operate at voltage close to maximumpower point to draw maximum available power.
MPPT solar charge controller allows users to use PV module
with a higher voltage output than operating voltage of batterysystem.

How Maximum PowerPoint Tracking works
Assume your battery is low, at 12 volts.A MPPT takes that 17.6 volts at 7.4
amps and converts it down, so thatwhat the battery gets is now 10.8 ampsat 12 volts. Now you still have almost
130 watts.

Ideal Conditions for MPPT
Cold weather, cloudy or hazy days: Normally,
PV module works better at cold temperaturesand MPPT is utilized to extract maximumpower available for them.
When battery is deeply discharged: MPPT can
extract more current and charge the battery ifthe state of charge in the battery is lowers.

PV output power is used to control DC-DC converter directly.
MPPT solar charge controller can be applied to other renewableenergy sources such as small water turbines, wind-power turbines,

An LCD continuously displays the percentage of dutycycle and battery charge level.
The output of PV array is DC source then we convertit in to AC.
