NEWS FLASH

The MRIA Portal is ready to handle more local events of Chapters!

Portal access from www.mria-arim.ca or by direct link from Ottawa Chapter’s pages.

Step 1 – log in to MRIA portal

• Members log in with their email address and membership number

• Non-members using the portal for the first time need to create an account

Step 2 – promo code, if applicable

• Most times, you’ll simply click “continue” here• Exceptions are people who have received a promo code

– Ottawa Chapter allows MRIA members to bring one non-member at the member’s rate to each event.

– Use this promo code: OTTGUEST– This promo code is only valid for the member and one non-

member registration per event.

Step 3 – Navigate to Events

• Left-hand navigation: Events & Publications– Then click on “Process an Event/Publications transaction”– If you are registering for an MRIA course, click on “Register

for a course” under Courses.

Step 4 – Find event, Register and Check out• Scroll until you find the right event, or sort by “Date” or “Location”• If you used the OTTGUEST promo code, your price will automatically be $40, ie $20 for you and $20 for

your guest. • Educational events have valuable maintenance of certification points (MCPs) associated with them

– If you have a CMRP designation, you will be credited these points toward your CMRP designation maintenance automatically, every time you register for an event or course.

• Double check the event and total• Enter your credit card information• Comment: If you are bringing a guest, using the OTTGUEST promo code, please list their name here• Comment: If you have dietary preferences you can also use this field• Submit all the information – you will get your receipt instantly

Step 5 – Payment and Comment field
