We read tons of great stories. We set goals and reach for the stars

with AR. We write about our thoughts, opinions,

and information we’ve learned. We master the location of all 50 states. We explore many Science topics. We ace fractions, decimals, and cover

lots of numbers. We improve our keyboarding skills.

Fourth graders are expected to read every night for 15-20 minutes in their DEAR book.

It is your job to have parents sign your planner each night and return it to school each morning with your DEAR book.

I check planners at 8:30. If yours is missing or not signed, you need to make up the reading time at recess.

We begin each day with Math.

The IXL site is a valuable tool.

You should spend 10-15 minutes on IXL at home several nights each week.

If you don’t have a computer at home, we’ll talk about ways to work it out.

If you pay attention use your time wisely, you should finish homework in about a half hour.

All homework is due the next morning. Anything unfinished will be counted wrong.

If you forget your homework you will need to do it over at recess.

If you forget too often, we will have a problem.
