Christopher is an outstanding student. I make this statement based not only on my experience of him as a student but also on the basis of his academic achievements set out in his curriculum vitae. He took my course, The European Union, in the Autumn Session of 2008. For his assessment, he wrote two papers, a research strategy paper and a research paper on: “Member States’ Courts Acceptance of Subordination to the Doctrine of Supremacy” for which he was awarded a High Distinction. Both papers were exceptionally well-researched and well-written. Christopher demonstrated a well-developed capacity to master quickly a new and complex area of law, the EU legal system. His contributions in class were thoughtful and of a high quality. On a personal level, Christopher was courteous, helpful in class discussions and friendly in his dealings with me and other students. In my view, Christopher would be a highly eligible candidate for employment, be it in the public or the private sector. He would also be a highly desirable candidate in my view, for further academic study. I have no hesitation in recommending him in either capacity. To Whom It May Concern:

I have known Mr Christopher Crewther in his capacity as a graduate student in the Master of Laws (International Law) program run by the ANU College of Law at the Australian National University.
