Which candy will float

If I place different types of candy in water, then I think the ones made of marshmallows will float

because they are made mostly of air.

• hard candies, • conversation

hearts, • truffles, • Babyruth• Caramel hearth• Blow pop• Bowls and cups

with water

1. Drop the candy in the water.

2. Watch what happens: Does it sink or float? Record Data/Results

3. Multiple trials

I changed the types of candies I placed in the water.

The things that stayed the same were the amount of water and the containers.
