Quickly Putting a Presentation Together

Discover PowerPoint Templates Use the Design TAB Use Outline View Use Master Slides Drag and Drop Between

Discover PowerPoint Templates

1. File TAB New2. Click on the

‘Search for online templates and themes’ area.

3. Type in:BusinessInfographicsEducation, etc.


Design TAB

1. Click on the Design TAB2. Choose a ‘Theme’3. Choose a ‘Variant’ (if

available)4. Choose different Font,

Colors and Effects in the ‘Variant’ area.

5. Go to ‘Format Background’ for a new background.


Outline View

1. Click on the View TAB2. Choose ‘Outline View’3. TAB to increase indent4. Shift + TAB to decrease

indent5. CTRL + ENTER for a new

slide (as long as it is not the first title slide)


Master Slides

1. Click on the View TAB2. Choose ‘Slide Master’3. Choose the Top (#1) Slide 4. Edit the fonts, bullets and

graphics that you want on every single slide in your presentation


Drag and Drop Slides Between Presentations

Before you begin:

1. Have both files open

2. View TAB: Arrange All

Use the drag and drop to select a thumbnailfrom one slideshow and then drag and dropit into the other slideshow.
