The experience of MTB Himachal

It wa s a awesome tr ip for me and lear ned a lot with some ex per ienced photogra phers. Enjoyed the ex per iments with nature and s ports. I found MTBHimachal a nice platform to show my talent and the 8 days were unforgettable. My"W(h)ipping off" photo de picts the s pir it of s ports the r ider shows how the r ider tames his mean machine in the middle of the stream to get the rotation of pedalr ight.. salute to that s pir it and not to forget to mention I got lucky with the light,colour and contrasts nature to give that amazing feel to the whole picture. I will loveto come on this adventurous tr ip again.

Adventure packed, Beautiful landsca pes, high s pir ited participants, just awesome.

The Her cules MTB Himachal is an unforgettable adventure tour. Every place of the route

has a flavor and its own character which excites the photogra pher in me.There is a strong emotion and s pir it that the picture talks about, off course it¶s about arace and there has to be a winner at the end of the day . Yet at sunset the racers were veryexhausted, many were sweating, and still straining every ner ve for the arduous u phill, yetno one gave u p. That moment Peter (Peter is a racer who is in my photo) lookedexhausted and I felt like he will give u p.. we all ke pt motivating him to kee p on moving,don't sto p kee p move....i was trying to ca pture that moment of surrender. But I realizedthat Peter hadn't sto pped, and was out of the view f inder!

Thus the thought of the picture was a perfect divergence between

the setting sun and the never setting s pir it to com plete the race..

I'm ha ppy that this photo is selected, because it has a nice little story. :)

The Experience at MTB Himachal-

There is no better joy than ca ptur ing instinctive reactions and random moments in nature. MTB Himachal

presents a wonderful o pportunity to ex per ience f irsthand the emotions and passion behind the su per humaneffort all r iders make to com pete in this event. It is an excellent outdoor platform for photo enthusiasts to portray action and adventure photogra phy in a scenic landsca pe setting.

while ca ptur ing the emotion and s pir it of participants in MTB, who together with their mean machinescom pete in extreme conditions, hik ing and bik ing their distance to the f inish line.

This blur of a passing cyclist enca psulates that s pir it of every r ider and the courage, determination and theenergy that travels along with him in pursuit of that moment to be called a cham pion.

The treacherous terrain takes its toll, on both man and his machine. This cir cuit tests the resilience of every participant to com pete and com plete 8 days of relentless cycling across var ious k inds of courses. However, oneneeds to be present to ca pture the perfect image and emotions along the trails. MTB Himachal organizers provided the camera crew a wonderful logistics su pport, often in the most unassuming places to hel p ca ptureand freeze these moments.

While I was busy ca ptur ing the stars. I noticed the smoke and couldn¶t resist ca ptur ing it..

The result came as ex pected«the element of sur pr ise, the smoke the colors the stars and a lot more

that makes the picture intr iguing and thus A piece of art, a moment of colors and an element of

sur pr ise was created in the ex per iment with nature.

..a sense of joy.. a r hythm to life.. a colorful paradise. That's what nature means to me«

So, I believe, I ca ptured a part of life.. not just mine.. but lives of peo ple around me..

Himachal is my hometown and, therefore, very close to my heart. The event was very well organized and all participants and contr i butors were well taken care of. I got to meet peo ple with similar interests and have madesome great new fr iends on the event. The mountain bik ing was fabulous and I was really amazed at the sk illsof all participants.

Nature and that tem ple in the hills, attracted me sim ply because of the serene setting and the gentle tinkling of the prayer bells, can be, per ha ps, the most enlightening sight to behold. Even though it was not possi ble toca pture the rustling of tree leaves and the prayer bells in a photogra ph, I thought that the sight of this picturesque little tem ple in the la p of the surrounding hills, will hel p me ca pture and share

the gentle s pir itual burst that I felt within myself and my ex per iment with nature had succeeded.I think I have never felt this close to God before.

It was wonderful to shoot in diff icult terrain, being part of team overall.in this particular image is wanted to ca pture the diff icult terrain & showcase the

ruggedness of the ambience.

Well the ex per ience was truly delightful. A part from testing my ca pabilities to constantly

think what to ca pture & how can my pictures truly reflect what's going on, the tr ip also

gave me a chance to discover beautiful inter iors of Himachal & meet locals. It also gave

me a chance to meet fellow enthusiastic photogra phers & cyclists. I look for ward to be a

part of next season also.
