The above local officiating arrangements are made purely on temporary basis and this will notconfer any right on the officer to continue in the same post/grade/station. The above arrangements arepurely temporary till the regular incumbent is posted/joins or till further orders from this officewhichever is earlier, but not to exceed 89 days.

The above officers will stand automatically reverted to their original cadre on ss" day or onjoining of the regular incumbent whichever is earlier, if no further orders are issued by this office in themeanwhile.

The arrangements made under this order will neither bestow on the officer any right to claimfor their regular appointment in the grade of CAO nor will the service rendered by them be counted forthe purpose of seniority in the grade or for promotion to the higher grade.

The above officiating arrangement is subject to the condition that there is novigilance/disciplinary case is pending/contemplated against the officer or some punishment likestoppage of increment is current.

In case of officers posted to officiate out of the SSA in which they are presently working as Sr.AO/ AO, those officers may first be transferred to the SSA in the substantive grade and be posted directlyto officiate as Chief Accounts Officer and TA/TP may be regulated as per guidelines issued by BSNL videletter No. 19-27/2002 -L&A (Part) dated 15-04-2004.

Since all the officers ordered to officiate as CAOs are already drawing the STSpay scale (E4 payscale) under Time Bound Upgradtiion, they are not entitled for pay fixation benefits.

If the officers do not assume charge within 15 days, he/she will be deemed to have declined theofficiating promotion.

No looking after arrangements in the grade of CAO shall be ordered at SSA level.

Copies of charge reports may be forwarded to this office and to all concerned.
