I n reg;~irds t o your l c ~ t e r about the UFO t h a t I saw March 4, 1969, a t 6 s43 A.M. on i-1Lghway J, 4 rn-iles west of At lanta , No., t h i s is what happened,

I was "caveling e a s t approaching Eas t Fork Bottom when I not iced a large x d objec t about -one ha12 x i l e t o the r i g h t of me, i n the f i e l d , It was t r ave l i cg nor th and I was going eas t . When it came upon the, road i n f r o n t of me, i t t a m e d the same way I was going. Judging from t h e w i d t h cf the road,, the object was about 100 f e e t across . The low- e r eCge ~3f the red glow was about 50 f e e t above &he ground. It seemed t o sea? 'JOT 2 seconc LS i t turned the szime d i r e c t i o n a s 1 was going.

A s I c?~~!e c l o s e r t o i t , a r e a l s t rong w ~ l i t e light came down upon t h e rod6 i n f r o n t of me. The l i g h t was f u l l width a t the top and came t o a ~ 2 0 % about 8 f e e t ac ross on the road. The l i g h t magnified the cha t on the highway ' t o about s l z e of golf b a l l s . T h i s l i g h t beam t h a t cane c:? the g m u n d was extrenely hot. It f l a shed once more a s it crossed a high l i n e . It followed by the site of J Ijighway u n t i l it crossed Highway 63.. Then it veered o f f t o the sou-tneast. I t looked l i k e i t would cross Highway 36 about s i x o r e i g ; ~ t miles e a s t of &con, N o . , then i t went out of s i g h t .

I saw it about seven t o e lgh t minutes a l toge the r . I had never be- l i e v e d i n them too muc2l u n t i l I saw this--now I k-low the re i s something t o these UEO:s. 1 do not why i t was t h e r e , I a l s o don ' t know where i-t was going. I do not kncw what it was a f t e r I s a w i t - -but I d o n ' t care about being t h a t c lose t o another one.

The weather was c l e a r , the sun was u.p j u s t enough t o be i n f u l l view.

Dcp-by Gilmore had a good s i g h t i n g on Jan. 2nd, 1969. He and an- t h e r deputy were c a l l e d t o a l o c a t i o n n e a r S p r i n g f i e l d where a UFQ had bee:1 s igh ted . The o b j e c t was some 300 t o 400, f e e t from them. They we-e a t the t op of a h i l l and almost l e v e l wi th the hover ing o b j e c t , It a p p e a r e d - a s a glowing white d i s c , While the o f f i c e r s were watching, a s i n g l e engine a i r c r a f t f lew i c t o the a r e a and c i r - l e d t ? e o b j e c t and f lew over t h e UFO. 4 - t t h i s p o i n t , e s t i m a t i n g the
