“Welcome to Stonehenge”

“Hello, today we will look at the amazing structure behind me”“all of the facts, theories, and mysteries about Stonehenge.”

“First we will take a look at where it is.”

“Stonehenge is located in the Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire”

“On the outside you will see 56 holes, called Aubrey Holes named after the guy wh

discovered them, no one knows the reason for them though.”

“Next are the Station Stones, they form a rectangle whose diagonals intersect at a

angle very close to the centre of Stonehenge.” “Reason for this, one of the pairs ma

Summer Solstice and the other pair marks the Winter Solstice.”

“Even further in are the Y Holes and Z Holes. There are 29 Z Holes and 30 Y. Z Hole

5-15ft away from the Sarsen Circle, which we will get to later, and they average 3ft d

Holes however are about 35ft away from the Sarsen Circle and also average 3ft dee

“Personally, I think it is an astronomical calendar but that is just me.”

“Some interesting facts about Stonehenge are, in Alliance, NE, there is a replica of

Stonehenge made of Vintage American Cars. Also, found around Stonehenge, therecircular shrines, so could Stonehenge be the “Father” shrine? I guess that is just ano

theory. And if you wanted to pinpoint the centre of Stonehenge the coordinates are

51° 10’ 42”, Long. W 1° 49’ 29”.”

“But unfortunately, today Stonehenge is being ruined. One reason is over the years

endured erosion but now it is getting the most of it, second, people are taking rockStonehenge, third, people are also grafting of it.” “So the Stonehenge you see toda

NOTHING like when it was built.”

“That is it for my tour of Stonehenge.”
