• What does multiplication mean, how does it work, and in what ways is it applied to everyday life?

Math- 3rd Grade

• TEKS: (3.4) Number, operation and quantitative reasoning: the student recognizes and solves problems in multiplication and division situations.

• (A) Learn and apply multiplication facts through 12 by 12 using concrete models and objects;

• (B) Solve and record multiplication problems (up to two digit times one digit);

• (C) Use models to solve division problems and use number sentences to record the solutions.

Skills to Learn

• Students will learn how to recall the information at a rapid speed.

• Students will learn how to apply the basic knowledge to everyday life.

• Students will learn how the multiplication tables relate to one another.
