Statesmanship now has a permanent home on Capitol Hill with this stately row house

where important ministry events will be ongoing in the heart of our nations capital.

To build upon this oundation already laid, and with

generous support rom a riend o CCS, a building

center was purchased to expand CCS inuence and

continue to impact our nations leaders with the Gospel.

In a strategic location, only minutes rom the Capitol

building, the Center will host well-attended, important

ministry events including:

Politics and Principle Luncheons: Christian

Members o Congress share testimonies with other

Members, hill staers and interns

Bible Studies: Members o Congress, hill staers

and interns gather or study in the Bible

Intern Events: Hundreds o interns gather to

connect in a Christian environment

Lecture Series: Key speakers share testimonies

with the Capitol Hill community

Outreach Events: Introduce unbelievers to the

Christian aith Donor Events: Introduce riends o the ministry

to Washington, D.C., CCS, and lie in our

nations capital

D. James Kennedy, Founder o Evangelism Explosion

and the Center or Christian Statesmanship, had a

proound love or America and its Christian heritage. His

memory will be honored and preserved at the Center in

a library dedicated in his name. Original urniture rom

Dr. Kennedys ofce will be displayed, including the

ministerial robe that he wore while sharing Gods Word.

The Library will also provide an expansive collection

o books and sermons that give evidence to Dr.

Kennedys history including hal a century o thorough,

investigative study o the Bible. The Bible speaks

clearly on the issues o our day, and the Library will

contain volumes o inormation that provide biblical

perspectives in matters on key cultural issues o

the day.

The Library will serve as a source o study and research

or thousands o hill staers who work with Members

o Congress daily. It is these sta and legislative

assistants, legislative counsels and chies-o-stas who

play key roles in work on Capitol Hill. These hill staers

may be behind the scenes, but they are the ones who

write many o the bills that aect real-lie citizens.

Many o them will be our countrys leaders tomorrow.

Through the D. James Kennedy Center or Christian

Statesmanship, hill staers are discipled and

encouraged to share their aith as they serve theircountry and their Lord. The Library will serve as a voice

or them to bring Christ to bear on the world, which

was Dr. Kennedys passion. It will also touch the

hearts o so many who loved and admired him.

Your partnership in the new Center is o major

signifcance. The Center brings prayer, ellowship and

support to government servants everyday. Our ministry

in Washington, D.C. is so vitally important as America

stands at a crossroads, and Whom our leaders ollow

will defne how they lead.

Here are a ew stories:

Burundi is a small, poverty-stricken Arican country

sandwiched between Tanzania on the east and

Congo DRC on the west. Government corruption,

civil unrest and political instability are a way o lie.

Yet grace is on the ground and running through

506 EE-trained Implementation Field Workers

(IFWs) in Burundi, Arica.

The EE Harvest Campaign put those IFWs into

action, gathering with their churches and sharing

the Gospel message in surrounding communities.

The results were beyond expectation:

Glasses or Missions

(GFM) traveled to

the village o

Yuvasania in the

Pacifc Islands to

distribute prescribed

reading glasses and

share the Gospel

with villagers.

Glasses were given

to each member

o the village who

attended the clinic

including the

village chie, Rocoloco.

Chie Rocoloco is not yet a believer, but the GFM

team shared the Gospel with him and all o those

who received glasses. Many prayed and accepted

Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.

Please pray or Chie Rocoloco o Yuvasania. He can

now see clearly the written Word o God with his

physical eyes, but needs to see clearly the Word o

God, Jesus Christ, with his spiritual eyes.
