Learning Objective TO MAKE THE KID EXPLORE ALL THE CAREER OPTIONS AVAILABLE POST CLASS 10.

TO PROVIDE AWARENESS ABOUT THE VARIOUS CAREERS AND THE STEPPING STONE TOWARDS THEM.

TO MOTIVATE KIDS FOR HAVING A GOAL FOR THEIR FUTURE.

Learning Outcome LEARN ABOUT THE DIFFERENT CAREER OPTIONS WHICH EXIST UNDER THE UMBRELLA OF SCIENCE,COMMERCE AND ARTS.

LEARN THE PATH THAT NEEDS TO BE TAKEN TO REACH THEIR SELECTED CAREER GOAL.

IN GROUPS AND WILL BE SENT FOR A JOURNEY IN THE TRAINS NAMED SCIENCE,COMMERCE AND ARTS RESPECTIVELY.

• AS THE JOURNEY COMMENCES THE KIDS WILL EXPLORE A NEW CAREER OPTION AT EACH STATION THEY CROSS .

• AT EVERY STATION THEY WILL HAVE A TOUR GUIDE WHO WILL HELP THEM EXPLORE THAT PLACE (CAREER) AND TELL THEM MORE ABOUT IT.

• THE LEARNING IN THIS SESSION CAN TAKE PLACE THROUGH A FUN ACTIVITY CALLED “SCOOPWOOP”.

• IN THIS ACTIVITY THE KIDS WILL BE GIVEN 3 PAPER CONES AND MANY SCOOPS OF ICECREAM .

• THE KIDS WILL THEN WRITE ABOUT EACH CAREER THEY EXPLORED ON THE ICE CREAM SCOOPS AND STICK THEM ABOVE THE CONE OF THE RESPECTIVE CONE.

• THIS ACTIVITY WILL HELP US TO SEE HOW MUCH THE KID UNDERSTOOD ABOUT EACH CAREER.

• THE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE VARIOUS CAREERS AVAILABLE UNDER THE BROAD CATEGORY OF STREMS WILL HELP THE KIDS TO MAKE INFORMED CAREER DECISION. HELP THE KIDS TO CHOOSE A CAREER BASED ON THIE SKILLS,TALENT,LIKE AND DISLIKES.

• KNOWING WHICH CAREER FALLS UNDER WHICH STREAM WILL HELP KIDS TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT STREAM AFTER THEIR HIGH SCHOOL.

• THE ALLOTED MENTORS WILL KEEP A CHECK ON THEIR SET OF KIDS AND HELP THEM FILL THE DIARY.

• THE ICE CREAM CONES CAN BE ATTACHED IN THE DIARY.
