MuSE PC 1685 Bonanza Drive Space Proposal Proposed uses of the space: Song Circles: A gathering of song writers to present recently completed work or works in progress, for the purpose of receiving feedback from other participating song writers and attendees. Anticipated Day and Time: Wednesday Evenings 6 - 10 p.m. Anticipated Attendance: 10 to 20 people Anticipated Volunteers: Jody Whitesides, Bill McGinnis, Shannon Runyon Open Mics: A curated event for performers to present their works in a safe friendly environment. Open to all. Sets are two to three songs or ten to fifteen minutes depending on attendance. An open mic is not an open jam. May include electric guitar, minimal percussion, bass, or other instruments. Anticipated Day and Time: Friday Evenings [as scheduled] 6 - 10 p.m. Anticipated Attendance: 20 to 40 people Anticipated Volunteers: Bill McGinnis, Shannon Runyon *Workshop: A facilitated gathering that can cover a wide range of subjects from song writing to alternate tuning to recording technique to social networking for artist promotion. There is no end to workshop possibilities. *Featured artist: A performance featuring local, regional and touring artists of a high enough caliber to warrant a solo or ensemble performance. Any performance by a featured artist should also have a local artist who is up and coming and deserving of an opening slot. Additional Volunteers: These are folks who have offered to help facilitate these functions. Some are one night a month some offer more than one night a month. MuSE PC Code of Conduct

Any organization is judged, in the eyes of others, by the actions of individuals. Your actions reflect on MuSE PC. ALWAYS conduct yourself in such ways that bring only CREDIT to yourself and to MuSE PC. ALWAYS conduct yourself with pride. We expect all participants to know and follow the Code. Failure to do so will result in us asking you to leave. The purpose of the venue is to facilitate, appreciate and listen to artists and their creative process. Please be quiet during any and all performances and refrain from the use of electronic devices during any and all performances except in cases of recording or videoing. Recording of any kind requires the permission of the artist and the venue. The venue is open to all ages however those under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Parking is limited. We encourage the use of Park City Transportation when possible.

No Retaliation: MuSE PC prohibits retaliation against any other member here.

Integrity: Our reputation as an organization to foster musical talent is a our most valuable asset, and it is up to all of us to make sure we continually earn that.

Usefulness: Our features and gatherings should make MuSE PC more useful for all our participants. We have many different participants from professionals to beginners, to audience members. The guiding principle "Is what we’re offering useful to others?"

Freedom of Expression: MuSE PC is committed to advancing the freedom of expression for our participants.

Responsiveness: Part of being useful and honest is being responsive. We should take pride in responding to communications from others, whether questions, problems, or compliments.

Support Each Other: MuSE PC is committed to a supportive creative environment where participants have th opportunity to reach their fullest potential. Participants are expected to do their utmost to create a culture that is free of harassment, intimidation and bias.

Harassment, Discrimination, and Bullying: MuSE PC prohibits discrimination, harassment, and bullying in any form - verbal, physical, or visual. If you believe you are being bullied or harassed by anyone participating please report the incident to Bill, Jody or the volunteer leading the program.

Drugs and Alcohol: MuSE PC’s position on substance abuse is simple - it is incompatible with the heart and safety of our participants, and we don’t permit it. Consumption of alcohol is banned on the premises, never drink in a way that leads to impaired performance or inappropriate behavior, endangers others or violates the law. Illegal drugs on the premises are strictly prohibited.

Song Circle Conduct - Self-discipline is critical to the success of the song circle. Participants are expected to follow these guidelines:

• Be on time • Come prepared with lyric sheets for others • Express the type of feedback desired • Cell phones and other devices on silent/vibrate mode • Event participants and volunteers are responsible for set up, take down and clean up of all events.

Open Mic Conduct - Self-discipline is critical to the success of the open mic. Participants are expected to follow these guidelines:

• Be on time • Have instrument(s) tuned and ready to go • Respect your allotted time • Bands cannot sign up multiple members as individuals to have multiple slots • Volume levels of any performance may not exceed 110db. • Event participants and volunteers are responsible for set up, take down and clean up of all events.

List of things we cannot allow: • No Smoking or Vaping • No Alcohol on premises • Do not disparage others on social media or websites
