A New Tune for Dotson Park

Dotson is a 92-acre, community owned park that is funded only by donations and maintained by volunteers.

How might music be used to provide resources needed to

help the park thrive?

One innovative idea is to hold a benefit concert, where celebrities donate their old musical instruments to the park…

And local musicians play a one time only concert on these famous(ish) instruments!

The proceeds of the concert will go to the park, and then all of the instruments will find a new

home in the park.

For example, George Clooney’s old ukulele could become a donation box!

The reeds from multiple celebrities’ woodwinds would

make great mulch!

And Elton John’s old piano could be the foundation for a children’s play ground!

Implement these brilliant ideas and the park will be booming with

visitors and donors for years!
