A box of tissue Paint Box Glue Ruler Marker knife Pre-made rectangular

tissue box cover OR

Piece of cardboard

Take your cardboard (not corrugated but thick and smooth) and measure out the shapes you see in the picture.

The squares will be completely removed and the corner as marked is the corner of the top of the tissue box.

STEP 1 :

Page 4: My DIY Project

Trim as well as you can with a very sharp X-acto knife and ruler. Score on the lines of your 9×5 rectangle but don’t cut through.

STEP 2 :

STEP 3 :

Fold the sides up to start forming the cover.

MAKE SURE :

That when folded up, your Kleenex tissue box fits well. The box should have the slightest bit of wiggle room.

STEP 4 :

Measure out the center of the box and make a rectangle for the Kleenex tissues to pull through. Trim out carefully.

With the corners brought together, use glue to join together. Hold firm until the glue sets.

STEP 5 :Paint your first round of glossy acrylic

paint onto the box. Gloss paint is more realistic for a Lego but it also shows the imperfections more obviously. After your first coat!

Take two of the 1.5 inch discs and glue them together and paint them.

Place them evenly on either side and hot glue them onto the box. Go over with one last coat of paint.

STEP 6 : Place the tissue box in from

underneath.

And finally, you got yourself a lego tissue box! :D
