Important celebrations in Peru

There are a lot of celebrations in Peru along the year. For example, in September, the Spring Festival. This is celebrated in Trujillo, in the north of Peru, and it’s considerate the Capital of the Spring.

Also, in October, all Peru celebrates the Lord of the Miracles. This month is called the purple month, so you can see people wearing a special purple dress.

By the way, on November 2nd, we celebrate the Day of the Dead. It’s a popular celebration in the highlands. People go to the cemetery to offer food, drinks and flowers to their beloved people. Finally, in December, all Peruvians celebrate Christmas.
