#MyDaddyBestDaddy Father’s Day, Facebook Campaign Report

For Father’s day, we wanted to create a memory worth remembering for the fathers by their kids. We desired to get connected to our followers emotionally and for this we created an endearing campaign, in which we decided to have one lucky winner, who would be awarded an Lk gift hamper worth INR 2000.

The contest was very simple yet exceptional, as we asked our participants to shoot their kids video saying why their daddy is the best daddy. The contest was designed keeping in mind the proud feeling a father gets when his little kid says something for him just to make him feel special.

The contest was launched on the 12th of June, all the way till the 16th, with the winners name being declared on the 19th June.

On 11th June, one day prior to the beginning of the contest, the teasers were sent out on Little Kangaroos Facebook page named #MyDaddyBestDaddy.

On 12th June, first we changed the cover photo on Little Kangaroos Facebook page with an interesting photo, announcing the upcoming contest, #MyDaddyBestDaddy.

The same evening the application picture of the page was also updated, which attracted a lots of enthusiastic posts from our participants about the contest.

This instruction post attracted lots of questions from the participants about getting maximum Likes and Comments to their videos. On their special request, we decided to remove the criteria of getting maximum likes and comments.

This eye-catching photo promoted exclusive Mumbai and Delhi stores of Little Kangaroos during the campaign. It asked the participants to bring their kids along with their father to the store and avail an interesting offer of 30% off on any of their purchases.

With this beautiful Father’s Day photo, we kept reminding our lovely participants to keep their enthusiasm going on and keep posting their kids lovable videos.

On 16th June we posted a collage of the amazing entries we received till then, thanking and asking people for more participation.

17th June marked the end of #MyDaddyBestDaddy contest. Here, an update was put on the page, mentioning to the people that now entries are not accepted and the contest has come to an end. The participants were thanked for their wonderful entries for #MyDaddyBestDaddy Contest with a ‘Thank-you’ post which was put up on the Facebook wall.

A father is the idol, the pillar and the strength of a child. The videos that we received showed how a father inspires his kid and how every father is the best father for his kid.

Babies being the cutest beings inspired us to ask for videos in the campaign and it worked perfectly as each and every video was heart-melting.

Selecting the winner was really a difficult task!
