– Must have my.NMSU.edu account to participate in any group

– Private groups by invitation only; Public available to anyone with my.NMSU.edu account

Requesting a Group

• Login to my.NMSU.edu

• Click > Groups (HELP handout)

• Complete requested information (HELP handout)

• Receive confirmation in approximately one week via email from Susan Waldo

• If needed sooner, contact me and I will follow-up for you

Role of Administrator

• Requests group and determines privileges

– Group name, public/private, searchable

– Determines which tools are available

• Manage group members

– Invite/Delete members

– Assign member’s access level

Role of Administrator

• Member’s access level

– Ability to set different access level for each member

– Post with or without administrator approval

• Must check postings waiting for approval
