  • MyGovUC Skype For Business Web App Online Meeting

    Supported Platform for Skype For Business Online Meeting (Web App)

    Account requirement:

    a. Set Outlook with 1GovUC email account

    b. Login Skype For Business client with same 1GovUC account

  • Host - Preparing Online Meeting

    1. Host must login into Skype For Business client on his/her PC.

    2. Open Outlook and click on Calendar.

    3. Click New Skype Meeting on top ribbon of Outlook.

  • 4. Fill up recipient email address(es), email subject, and define start/end meeting time/date.

    5. Insert message in mail body (optional).

    6. Click Send to send the invitation to recipient(s).

    7. Check on Calendar. Meeting event will be added into the calendar.

  • Participant – Accepting invitation

    1. Participant may check inbox in his/her Outlook/ OWA, check for invitation email.

    2. Click Join Skype Meeting to start online meeting. Browser will pop up to initiate.

    3. Alternatively, right click on Join Skype Meeting, and click Copy link. Open browser and paste

    into address bar.

  • 4. Browser will open Skype For Business Web App. Click Join Using Skype For Business Web

    App instead.

    5. Follow instructions given. First, download and install Web App plug-in (appx 8MB file size) by

    clicking item 1.

    6. After installation, click on Join the Meeting in item 2.

    7. If participant does have Skype For Business client installed in his/her PC, click Join using

    Skype For Business client or Lync client, albeit this is an optional.

    8. If there is an issue with participant’s SFB client, just proceed with Join the Meeting to

    proceed with SFB Web App instead.

  • 9. On next window, fill up participant’s name and click Join the meeting.

  • Host – Accepting participant(s) in meeting

    1. Check host SFB notification. There will mention a notification “1 person is waiting in the

    lobby”.

    2. To check who is requesting to join the meeting, click See Lobby.

  • 3. Click “√” to admit selected participant or click Admit All to admit all participant(s).

    4. Both host and participant will have same screen in meeting.
