Does the Prieur de Sion control the Roman Catholic Church today? According tovarious sources, including the Jewish Encyclopedia, the House of Rothschild has beenthe long-standing trustee of the Vaticans wealth.

Early in the 19th century the Pope came to the Rothschilds to borrowmoney. The Rothschilds were very friendly with the Pope, causing one

journalist to sarcastically say Rothschild has kissed the hand of thePope... Order has been reestablished. The Rothschilds in fact over timewere entrusted with the bulk of the Vaticans wealth. The Jewish Ency.,vol. 2, p. 497 states, It is a somewhat curious sequel to the attempt toset up a Catholic competitor to the Rothschilds that at the present time(1905) the latter are guardians of the papal treasure. ResearcherEustace Mullins writes that the Rothschilds took over all the financialoperations of the worldwide Catholic Church in 1823. Today the large

It appears that the Medici were involved in the Rothschild takeover of the Vaticansfinancial operations and, indeed, all of Italy, as well as the creation of a new front forthe disentitled Bavarian Illuminati, the Carbonari, of which the Alta Vendita was thehighest lodge:

In 1821 Carl [Kalman Rothschild] was sent to Naples, Italy tooversee loans there that were meant to finance Metternichs forces whohad arrived to quell a rebellion. While in Italy the Rothschild mantlecame upon Carl and he made a series of ingenious deals with the Italian

government that forced Naples to pay for its own occupation. The Pope conferred upon him theOrder of St. George.

It appears that in Italy Carl became a leader of Carbonarism. Afterthe Bavarian Illuminati was exposed, Carbonarism (or the Alta Vendita)

The original Italian translation of the document entitled PermanentInstructions or Practical Code of Rules Guide for the Heads of theHighest Grades of Masonry was given to Nubio (Piccolo Tigre, anondescript Jew) of the Alta Vendita lodge in 1824 when he was sentto Rome to carry it into effect, and it was to this instruction that hereferred when he wrote from Forli to Signor Volpi, As I have written to

you before, I am appointed to demoralise the education of the youth ofthe [Roman] Church. These secret Instructions which were written in1815, are in perfect accord with the Protocols of the Learned Elders ofZion and intended only for a chosen few Masons of heavy calibre.

The Prieur de Sion, which is directed by the House of Rothschild, works from theshadows, yet one need only consider the list of past Grand Mastersof this high cabal to

begin to comprehend the magnitude of its influence and power. Baigent, Leigh andLincoln disclosed the nature of its membership inHoly Blood, Holy Grail: The French

press, in a brief article on M. Plantards election as Grand Master in 1981, had statedthat the 121 high dignitaries of the Prieur de Sion are all eminences grises of highfinance and of international political or philosophical organizations. I had intended to go into great detail linking P2, the Prieur de Sion,the Vatican, the CIA, organizations for a United Europe, and theBilderberg Group. Fortunately, Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh &Henry Lincoln beat me to it. (William Cooper,Behold a Pale Horse,

Some interesting things have come to light about the Prieurrecently. One is that the Swiss Grand Lodge Alpina (GLA), the highest

body of Swiss Freemasonry (akin to the Grand Lodge of England), mayhave been the recruiting body for the Prieur. But the GLA is also said

by some to be the meeting place of the Gnomes of Zurich who are saidto be the Power Elite of Swiss bankers and international financiers. TheGLA is said by David Yallop to be the body which controlled the P2Masonic Lodge in Italy.

P2 controlled the Italian secret police in the 1970s, took moneyfrom the CIA and KGB, may have had a hand in the kidnapping of AldoMoro by the Red Brigades, had 900 agents in other branches of theItalian government and the highest positions of the Vatican...used the

Vatican Bank to launder Mafia drug money, fomented fascist coups inSouth America, and is most likely linked to the arch-conservativeKnights of Malta and Opus Dei in the Vatican. (Mysteries of Rennes leChateau)

In 1958, Angelo Roncalli, who became Pope John XXIII, was allegedly a member ofthe Prieur de Sion.

The name John had been implicitly anathematized since it was lastused in the early fifteenth century by an Antipope! Moreover, there had

already been a John XXIIIthe Antipope who abdicated in 1415. Thusthe selection by Roncalli of the name Pope John XXIII was unusual to saythe least, and raised many questions. One answer was suggested in 1976 by a book called The Prophecies ofPope John XXIII. The book was allegedly a compilation of obscure

In 1961, John XXIII reinstated the Knights of Malta, according to Sodalitium, a RomanCatholic publication:

June 24, 1961. On that date, the feast of Saint John the Baptist, patronof the Order (and of Masonry), John XXIII received the Knights at the

Pope John XXIII then proceeded to rescind the prohibition of Roman Catholics holdingmembership in Freemasonry:

propaganda under former President of France, Charles DeGaulle, who was the son ofa headmaster of a Jesuit college in Paris. According to Yallop, the Rothschild-controlled Vatican Bank were laundering money for their Jewish brothers in the MediciMafia:

Specifically, the Knights of Malta, Italian Masonic lodge P2, and

A Catholic article which exposes the Masonic connections of John Paul IIand the influence of Jacob Frank on his papacy, also reveals the considerable damagethe Frankist movement has inflicted on the citadel of Roman Catholicism. The authorof Karol, Adam, Jacob, a Father Francesco Ricossa, first links Karol Wojtyla toAdam Mickiewicz (1798-1855), a Polish messianist and a figure of singularimportance. According to Fr. Ricossa, Polish messianists consider Poland to be another

Adam Mickiewicz was also a colleague of the Italian Giuseppe Mazzini (1805-1872),the powerful Masonic revolutionary who, with Karl Marx, a Jew whose real surnamewas Mordecai, founded the Communist International. Guiseppe Mazzini also belongedto the Carbonari which had superseded the Bavarian Illuminati. Mazzini unified ItalianFreemasonry to break the temporal power of the Papacy and, with his fellow Mason inthe U.S., Albert Pike, united Freemasonry internationally to destroy the Church. InOccult Theocrasy, Edith Starr Miller wrote that the Communist International took aspecial interest in securing the independence of Poland for the benefit of the JewishBrotherhood in that country:

At a meeting [of the Communist International] held in London, in1865, the re-establishment of Poland entire and independentwas...discussed...and that the Conference must stand by the Polishcause. It is worth noting that Pope John Paul II has done little ornothing to remove priests who are homosexual predators.

goyim, and thereby to ruin their mission on earth which in these daysmight still be a great hindrance to us. Day by day its influence on thepeoples of the world is falling lower. Pope John Paul II was the first Pontiff to openly visit a Jewish synagogue, where he

prayed with the Chief Rabbi of Rome who was so impressed with the open-mindednessof the Pope that he converted to Catholicism and changed his name to Eugenio Pacelli

in honor of Pius XII. The Vatican under John Paul II also forged full diplomatic tieswith Israel and this pope is credited with ending 2,000 years of hostility and distrust

between Christians and Jews. On January 17, 2002, the current Chief Rabbi of Romeheld a special meeting with the Vatican Cardinals. The date,January 17, isthe sacredday on which Grandmasters of the Prieur de Sionare elected. The election of GrandMasters of the Prieur de Sion on 17 Nisanis a statement of the Merovingian Jews

presumed entitlement to the Messianic birthright. protest to Rabbi Di Segnis ominous lecture concerning the future implementation oftheNoachide Laws:

whether Jesus divinity can be compatible, for a non-Jew (because for aJew it is absolutely not) with the monotheistic concept.

In other words: The Jew who would become a Christian, thus thenbelieving in the divinity of Jesus, would cease to be a monotheist inorder to become an idolater. Must one say the same thing of a non-Jew?Is believing in Jesus divinity a sin of idolatry, a violation of the first

Noachides might observe it. Likewise, the punishment of death wouldapply to what treats forbidding the worship of strange gods, in view of

beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God.]

The Rabbi is not finished.rabbi di segni's proposition

...Actually, Di Segni advances a proposition... Christians must come to admit that the Jews, by virtue of theiroriginal and irrevocable election, as well as of their possession andobservance of the Torah, possess a way toward salvation which is

proper to them, a full and special way that has no need of Jesus.... Di Segni knows that he asks the impossible of Christians, and it isfor this reason that he asks it. To admit that a man, even one man, onesoul, even one, has no need of Jesus means to renounce Jesus. For DiSegni, this would be obtaining from Christians the implicit refutation ofJesus detested (by him) divinity. (3)... ff.3. This is a mad hope on Di Segni's part. Certainly, because of thedivine promises: the gates of Hell shall not prevail against Her. But---

Is this how evil appears? Good, but with a twist of evil? What saith the Scripturesabout the personification of Satan? According to Gods Word, Satan would take on theappearance of Mel Gibson (or any of the Evangelical sycophants who promoted thismovie) rather than the malevolent-appearing character of Rosalinda Celentano!

prophecy suggests that the tribe of Dan intends to destroy the tribe of Judah andinaugurate their own messiah who will rule a world kingdom from Israel, notJudah. From the carcass of the young lion (destruction of Judah) the tribe of Dan(symbolized by bees) will produce a Golden Age (symbolized by honey).

Specifically, the Antichrist of the tribe of Dan would rule from the northern area whichwas occupied by Dan, namely Mount Sion, also called Mount Hermon (Deut.4:48)This Canaanite territory was chosen by Dan because it was the location of the sacredsite, Mount Hermon. THE SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN

Since the designation Jew belongs exclusively to the tribe of Judah, only the tribe ofJudah is Jewish. Other tribes of Israel who call themselves Jews are appropriating tothemselves an ancient birthright which is not rightfully theirs, for the Messiah would

descend through the tribe of Judah. Revelation 2:9-10 refers to the synagogue of Satanas them which say they are Jews, and are not. In His message to the church atSmyrna, Jesus spoke of this group as a synagogue, that was not Jewish:

I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and Iknow the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, butare the synagogue of Satan. I know thy works, and tribulation, and

poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which saythey are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Fear none ofthose things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of

you into prison, that ye may be tried and ye shall have tribulation tendays: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.The establishment of the synagogue, according to the Jewish Encyclopedia, was ofancient origin and, therefore, the ancient Israelites would have had synagogues whichcontinued in both kingdoms subsequent to the great schism:

By the time [the synagogue] had become the central institution ofJudaism (no period of the history of Israel is conceivable without it), itwas already regarded as of ancient origin, dating back to the time ofMoses (see Yer. Targ.,Ex. xviii. 20 and I Chron. xvi. 39 Pesi. 129bPhilo, De Vita Mosis, iii. 27 Josephus, Contra Ap. ii., 17 Acts xv.21).

We may infer from Revelation 2:9-10, that a portion of the northern kingdom of Israel,which was dispersed after the Assyrian invasion, settled in Smyrna in Asia Minor.Furthermore, that these Israelites claimed to be Jews and, after the death of Christ,

persecuted His Church in that city. The bishop of Smyrna during the first part of thesecond century was the famous Polycarp who was burned at the stake sometime aroundthe year 155. That Jews were behind Polycarps martyrdom is evident in the Letter ofthe Smyrnaeans to the Church at large:

When this was proclaimed by the herald [that Polycarp confessed

himself to be a Christian] the whole multitude both of Gentiles and ofJews who dwelt in Smyrna cried out with ungovernable wrath and witha loud shout, This is the teacher of Asia, the father of the Christians,the puller down of our gods, who teacheth numbers not to sacrifice norworship.... These things then happened with so great speed, quickerthan words could tell, the crowds forthwith collecting from theworkshops and baths timber and faggots, and the Jews more especiallyassisting in this with zeal, as is their wont...

So [the Evil One] put forward Nicetes, the father of Herod andbrother of Alce, to plead with the magistrate not to give up his body,lest, so it was said, they should abandon the crucified one and beginto worship this man--this being done at the instigation and urgententreaty of the Jews, who also watched when we were about to take it

from the fire, not knowing that it will be impossible for us either toforsake at any time the Christ who suffered for the salvation of thewhole world of those that are saved--suffered though faultless forsinners--nor to worship any other. For Him, being the Son of God, we adore, but the martyrs asdisciples and imitators of the Lord we cherish as they deserve for theirmatchless affection towards their own King and Teacher. May it be ourlot also to be found partakers and fellow-disciples with them. The

centurion therefore, seeing the opposition raised on the part of the Jews,set him in the midst and burnt him after their custom.

The Lord Jesus also referred to the synagogue of Satan in His message to the Church atPhiladelphia:

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they areJews, and are not, but do lie behold, I will make them to come andworship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. (Rev. 3:9)

According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, St. Ignatius of Antioch later sent to theChristians of Philadelphia an interesting letter warning them against the Jews (Funk,Die apostolischen Vtter, Tbingen, 1901 pp 98-102). Ignatius of Antioch had alsocontended with the Judaising heresy in his church at Syria from the late first centuryuntil his martyrdom in Rome c. 110 A.D. The Encyclopedia Britannica states:Ignatius apparently fought two groups of heretics: (1) Judaisers, who did not acceptthe authority of the New Testament and clung to such Jewish practices as observing theSabbath, and (2) the Docetists...

IGNATIUS THEOPHOROS (Greek: God Bearer) (d. c. 110, Rome),bishop of Antioch, Syria, known mainly from seven highly regardedletters that he wrote during a trip to Rome, as a prisoner condemned to

be executed for his beliefs. He was apparently eager to counteract theteachings of two groups--the Judaizers, who did not accept the authorityof the New Testament, and the Docetists, who held that Christ'ssufferings and death were apparent but not real. The letters have often

been cited as a source of knowledge of the Christian church at thebeginning of the 2nd century. Ignatius represented the Christian religionin transition from its Jewish origins to its assimilation in the Greco-Roman world.

Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house ofIsrael: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: weare cut off for our parts. Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thussaith the Lord GOD Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, andcause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the landof Israel. (Ezekiel 37:11)

For more than a century, the Zionists have been gathering their fellow Israelites fromall over the world. Shall we conclude then, that by bringing the Jews to Israel, Zionismis therefore a movement of God and should be supported by Christians? Thismovement is not the fulfillment of God's promise to regather Israel, per se, but isSatan's counterfeit of Bible prophecy to establish the world kingdom which he will rulethrough the Antichrist from Israel. Satan is, in fact, using Zionism to regather the Jewsto Israel for another Holocaust which will take place during the Tribulation period.Within Jewry there is a movement which has opposed the Zionist Movement from its

inception. Neturei Karta, which means Guardians of the City, is comprised of ultra-Orthodox Jews who believe that the present condition of the Jew is a reflection ofdivine wrath. One of its chief proponents, I. Domb, wrote in The Transformation: TheCase of the Neturei Karta:

The course of events culminating in the destruction of theSanctuary, was unfolded in a miraculousway, as we have been told byour Sages:'Verily, hands full of Fire descended from Heaven to burnthe Temple of Gd . . . Gd has crushed the strong in our midst . . . In

But when we Jews who have remained true to our faith, ponder over

our future, we have to think in divine terms, in terms of Gd's promisesto us through the prophets, of the redemption according to divinerevelation with everlasting joy and happiness, which the advent of the

Messiahwill inaugurate, as is plainly written in our Torah, and whichfar transcends the highest aspiration and advantages that Zionism canoffer the Jewish People, or, for that matter, even the greatest good towhich any other nation can aspire. (p. 14)

I. Domb further maintains that the Zionist Movement and its precursor, ReformJudaism, have removed the Jews from observance of the Torah and substituted in its

place the secular humanism that characterizes 95 % of world Jewry today.

The way was prepared for Zionism by the reform movement or the so-called Haskala with its teaching that the laws governing the world couldall be understood by human reason. The influence of the Haskala beganto undermine the pillars of Judaism, and once the infection had spreadto the Jewish masses, Zionism, the faithful offspring and disciple of theHaskala Reform, arose to continue the work of its father and to apply itsteachings to the Jewish people. The Haskala and Zionism were mutuallydependent in the process the former breachedthe wall of the citadel ofthe faith, and the latter, disguised in an imitation of Jewish garb, entered

through the breaches in order to carry on the work of destroying themain structure. (p. 7)

The secularization of Judaism has been systematically achieved through the Zionistcampaign:

...when Zionism reached its zenith and engulfed almost all sectionsof Jewry, an active Zionist campaign for the estrangement of the Jewish

people from the Torah was intensified. Laxity, and among certainsections, even animositytowards our religion on the part of Zionism, is

not incidental but a direct outcome of Zionist ideology.Throughout the period which has elapsed since Zionism firstappeared on the Jewish scene, Zionists fought religion by differentmethods. All this leads to one obvious conclusion: that

Zionism is basically the reverse of our Emuna [faith] and religiousideology. To become a Zionist means to conceive Jewry as somethingtemporal and earthly, utterly divorced from all the divine connections,upon which the whole of Emuna is based. (pp. 21-2)

I. Domb argues that Zionism does not constitute the fulfillment of God's plan for theJews but rebellion against it. This, in turn, will incur more of God's wrath upon theJews, according to Lubavitch Rabbi, Shulem Ben Shneersohn:

ShouldHeaven forbidthe Zionists succeed in obtaining a country

as they hope, they will defile and desecrate it with their abominationsand their evil deeds and thus prolongHeaven forbidthe length of theExile. (p. 233)

Previously, I. Domb mentioned that, among the Zionists there arose a group called theCanaanites, which will partially account for the abominations that the will defile thenation of Israel upon full acquisition of the land. Keep in mind that the ancientCanaanites occupied the far northern territory surrounding Mount Sion/Hermonwhichwas later occupied by the apostate Tribe of Dan:

A group which calls itself the Canaanites and consists of those whohave had a completeZionist education... The Canaanites claim perfectlynaturally that they belong to the ancient culture of the originalCanaanite nation which occupied the land now called Israel in ancienttimes. Therefore, they claim, that they must acknowledge and re-adoptthe ancient culture of the country with the main principles involved inthat culture... What has happened is perfectly simple. The Zionistheresy, with its compete and essential denial of the whole content ofJudaism and of the Holiness of the Torah, has created a vacuum whichcannot long be unfulfilled... the reason for the appearance of this groupand the Canaanites myth which it propagates, is t provide something

that can fill the vacuum... it is a clear and unmistakable sign that theuprooting of the Torah, has succeeded to such an extent as far as theyounger generation is concerned, that they are ready to grasp withenthusiasm at even the most fantastic of myths. (pp. 87-88)

Although the Zionist Movement is notthe fulfillment of God's promises to regather thetribes of Israel, neither will ultra-Orthodox Jewry represent the 144,000 Jews from thetwelve tribes (excluding Dan) who will stand with Jesus Christ on Mount Zion. Thetrue 144,000 of Revelation 14 have not defiled themselves with women, which is areference to the pagan sex rites that will be prevalent during the Tribulation Period, per

Rev. 9:21. However, ultra-Orthodox Jewry which comprises the membership ofNeturei Karta derives its ideology from the Talmud and the Kabalah, both of whichelevate fornication to a virtue. The great Lubavitcher rabbi previously quoted by I.Domb would be a Kabbalist, a practitioner of Jewish occultism who awaits theLubavitcher messiah. notion of the divinity of man as being the exclusive privilege of the Jew.

...This order of reward and punishment, reward for mitzvotandpunishment for averoth, is a privilege for us Jews, and constitutes theloftiest elements of our constitution, the divine quality inherited fromour forbearsand finally confirmed on Mount Sinai. For this Torah is constituted according to divine conceptions, far abovehuman grasp. Consequently, in the majority of both mitzvotand averoth,

the remoteness from human reasoning, manifest in this formulation is self-evident but even those which seem logical enough and useful to humansociety, do in fact contain higher divine aspects, incomprehensible to theminds of mortals.Only the Jews, the people who are endowed withdivine quality, have been conditionedto undertake and perform thesesacred functions. The order of reward and punishment is the direct resultof their eternal and indissoluble union with Gd, as no other humanhas the possibility of being included in that order thus only a Jew canevoke either the punishment or the reward involved in these acts, thecommandments of a purely Gdly aspect. We are forced to conclude that ultra-Orthodox Jewry is simply the religious extreme ofthe dialectic in professed, but not actual, opposition to secular Zionism. The dialectical

process, which is designed to polarize the masses and destabilize the status quo inorder to restructure the social order, will ultimately unite world Jewry in a Babylonianreligious system based on Kabalism, which is the common denominator of Zionismand ultra-Orthodox Jewry.Psalm 119:91 says of the Lord, ...for all arethy servants which reveals that allmen, even the wicked, are fulfilling the sovereign purposes of God whether theyrealize it or not. So the Zionists, who are funded by Rothschild money and think theyare so brilliant as to outwit, not only the Christians, but God Himself, are in factopposing themselves(Acts 18:6) and, in the final analysis, signing their own deathwarrants. Likewise, the ultra-Orthodox Kabbalists.Scripture is explicit that when the Jews return to Israel, they will face the Tribulation

period. In order to control Israel from Jerusalem, the tribe of Dan must exterminateJudah and usurp its place in the Messianic lineage. Even so, Scripture foretells that,after the slaughter of two-thirds of Jewry is allowed to take place, the Lord Jesus Christwill save Judah:

The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory ofthe house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do notmagnify themselvesagainst Judah. In that day shall the LORD defendthe inhabitants of Jerusalem and he that is feeble among them at thatday shall be as David and the house of Davidshall beas God, as theangel of the LORD before them. And it shall come to pass in that day,thatI will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem...

And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, twoparts therein shall be cut off and die but the third shall be left therein.And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as

silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on myname, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shallsay, The LORD is my God. (Zech. 12:7-10 13:8,9)

And so we are given to understand that God has not cast off His people forever, but a

glorious day awaits the remnantof Judah when the Lord Jesus Christ will revealHimself.

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants ofJerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall lookupon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as onemourneth for hisonlyson, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one thatis in bitterness for hisfirstborn... And oneshall say unto him, What are

these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Thosewith which Iwas wounded inthe house of my friends. (Zech.12:10-11,13:6)

The apostle Paul spoke of this remnant of Jews, the elect who will be saved by graceand not by the works of the law.

I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also aman Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God hathnot cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what thescripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against

Israel, saying, Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged downthine altars and I am left alone, and they seek my life. But what saiththe answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousandmen, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. Even so thenat this present time also there is a remnant according to the election ofgrace. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace isno more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwisework is no more work. What then? Israel hath not obtained that whichhe seeketh for but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were

blinded. (Romans 11:1-7)

But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly and circumcision is that of theheart, in the spirit, and not in the letter whose praise is not of men, butof God. (Romans 2:29)

When Jesus reveals himself to His brethren, it will be a family affair, and profoundlymoving. The Biblical type for this reconciliation is the patriarch Joseph, who wept ashe revealed his identity to his brethren...and hastened to graciously forgive them fortheir past treachery.

Then Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by

him and he cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And there stoodno man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brethren.And he wept aloud: and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard.And Joseph said unto his brethren, I amJoseph doth my father yet live?And his brethren could not answer him for they were troubled at his

presence. And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I prayyou. And they came near. And he said, I amJoseph your brother, whomye sold into Egypt. Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry withyourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to

preserve life. For these two years haththe famine beenin the land: and

yet there arefive years, in the which there shallneither beearing norharvest. And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in theearth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. (Gen. 45:1-7)

in the last days and the seven year famine foreshadowed the Tribulation periodprophesied in the New Testament, most notably in the Book of Revelation. In theBook of Romans, the apostle Paul has foretold that, as God was gracious andmerciful toward the House of Jacob during the seven years of famine in Egypt, Hewill graciously and mercifully restore the believing remnant of Israel during thetime of Jacobs trouble.Another prophetic type, the conversion of Paul, who deemed himself the chief of

sinners for his former hatred of Jesus Christ and violent persecution of His Church,demonstrates Gods mercy and covenantal salvation of believing Israel at the SecondComing of Christ:

In view of the preceding chapter on Israels rejection, thequestion is asked Hath God cast away His People? Is therenothing more in store for national Israel? God forbid. If it were so,Gods gifts and calling would be subject to repentance and Hewould not be the faithful, covenant-keeping God. He foreknew His

people Israel and that foreknowledge embraced all their sad history

of failure and apostasy. The Apostle Paul speaks of himself as anIsraelite of the seed of Abraham. He demonstrates in his ownexperience the fact that God hath not cast away His people. HatingChrist, having zeal for God without knowledge, a persecutor of thechurch, he had obtained mercy that in him Jesus Christ might showforth all long-suffering, for a pattern to them which shouldhereafter believe on Him (1Tim.1:16). His unique conversion must

be looked upon as a prophetic type of the conversion of theremnant of Israel, when the Lord comes. As Saul of Tarsus sawHim in the glory-light, so the Israel living in the day of the secondComing of Christ will behold Him (Zech.12:10 Rev.1:7). Thisvision will result in their national conversion...

A mystery is made known. Blindness in part has happened to

Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. The fulness ofthe Gentiles means, the full number of the saved, gathered out fromamong the Gentiles, who constitute the church, the body of Christ.And when the body is joined to the Head in glory, the time of thecoming of the Lord for His Saints (1Thes.4:17), the Lord will turnagain to Israel. All Israel, that is, the all Israel living in the day will

be saved, when the Deliverer comes out of Zion (Isaiah 59:20

Psalm 14:7). It is the second, visible, personal and glorious comingof the Lord Jesus Christ. He will turn away ungodliness from Jacoband take away their sins. Between the coming of the Lord for theSaints, who will meet Him in the air, and His coming in great

power and glory, are the days of Jacobs trouble, when the nationwill have to pass through the fires of tribulation and the wickedamong Israel will be cut off. And after He has come and has takenaway their sins, all the great prophecies of Israel's earthly glorywill be fulfilled... A doxology closes this dispensational section ofthe epistle. (A.C.
