• VISA For those traveling to the US from a Visa Waiver Program (VWP) country, an electronic passport (e-Passport) is required. VWP travelers are required to have a valid authorization through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization prior to travel. Obtain a visa for travel if you are not from one of the VWP countries or if your country is not yet issuing machine-readable passports.
• PASSPORT If you are traveling from Canada, Mexico, or Bermuda, the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative requires you to present a passport to enter the US.
