NTI Featured in Evansville Living Magazine Check out the latest edition of Evansville Living Magazine for an article that details how NTI is working with local sources to create a dollhouse based on the plans of Wes Peters. Peters, a protégé of renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright, lived in Evansville and designed the Peters-Margedant House which was recently relocated to the UE campus. While in Evansville, Wes Peters made prototypes of Usonian houses which were sold as dollhouses. NTI students have taken pictures of the dollhouses, converted them to engineering plans, and now will reconstruct a dollhouse from the design. You can access the article at http://www.evansvilleliving.com/articles/hidden-history. Also look for more outreach projects into the community including building a scale model P-47 Thunderbolt and work with the Freedom Heritage Museum.

Turnabout Dance a Success!

Thank you to the Juniors who helped make the 2016

Turnabout Dance a success! Also thank you to Ms.

Alcorn and Mr. Jones, Junior Class Sponsors, who

helped with the planning and chaperoned the dance.

It was a fun time for all who attended.

review if more time is needed.

- All students will be in class as usual throughout the week of finals. Students cannot ask for another student from

a class to work on or practice for presentations.

- During final exam times there will be no disruptions of class, and teachers will be on duty in the hallways as

needed. Teachers will keep all students in class, even if a student is exempting a final. Students who are exempting

a final exam should bring work to do during the final.

NTI Final Exam Exemptions Guidelines:

- Students cannot exempt college credit or AP classes.

- Exemptions apply only to NTI classes.

- Students may exempt up to two final exams for NTI classes.

In order to exempt, students must:

- have an A or B average in the class

- have no more than 1 unexcused absence across all classes (6 lates = 1 unexcused absence)

- have parent signature

- give completed exemption form, with parent signature, to his/her teacher for approval on or before the final

exam review day for those classes eligible.

Students who are eligible to receive an exemption form will receive it during 3rd

period on Tuesday December 13,

2015.

Teachers should not sign a form that does not have a parent/guardian signature.

Before signing the exemption form, make sure the student has an A or B in your class and has fewer than 3 lates to

your class.

Teacher will sign the appropriate place on the Final Exam Exemption form.

The last teacher to sign the form will give the form to Mrs. Kraft in the office.

Students who exempt should receive an “N” for the final exam grade.
