Asset Management

• Oversee maintenance of all on board mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, marine and structural systems ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards

• Manage the preventive maintenance system ensuring procedures and documentation is maintained accurately and in a timely manner

• Seek and create modifications to systems as required to ensure changes are done as planned and according to Company’s policies and procedures

• Monitor the CMMS for upcoming safety critical maintenance and required regulatory inspections that could interfere with rig operations, coordinate Operational Risk Assessments (ORA) for inspections and safety critical maintenance that cannot be completed in the required time frame

• Monitor JRA and Permit to Work documentation and communicate lessons learned relating to maintenance activities and related operations. Ensure corrective work orders are documented for all repairs

• Manage and instruct LOTO in relation to mechanical and electrical maintenance and ensure proper training of LOTO procedures

maintenance. • Approve the procurement of materials and services required for the maintenance of the asset. • Ensure that the Company Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is followed in accordance

with company procedures. • Ensure that maintenance measures (CMMS) are reviewed monthly and rig specific

improvement plans are developed to address any maintenance issues. • Schedule rig hardware audit and participate in PMAA audits and ensure that any identified

corrective actions are carried out. • Liaise with third party vendors, subject matter experts and Corporate asset management

regarding technical equipment issues. • Review and monitor metrics associated with the Asset management process with the objective

of continuous sustained improvement. • Review any exception to the use of standard PM tasks • Review deferrals of any 1825-day standard PM tasks. • Ensure that proper evaluation is conducted of the risks created by any delayed maintenance. • Ensure adequate corrective or mitigating action is carried out on overdue work.

Client Relationship

• Provide technical information on equipment and rig specifications. • Provide technical information and proposed solutions of equipment issues. • Assists as needed in marketing existing equipment, new equipment and services to current

Financial Management

1994 –1996- QAPCO (Qatar Petrochemical Company) Doha, Qatar. MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR. Qapco is producing 800,000MT of ethylene from ethane coming from different sources of the Oil & Gas industry of Qatar. Most of that ethylene is consumed in the LDPE plants of Qapco and by the sister company QVC.

Asset Management

• To ensure that the quality of repairs and overhauls provided by various manufacturers and local workshops are in line with the standards.

• To provide technical advice on the rotating equipment to various departments / divisions and to evaluate technical proposals in co-ordination with the project division on issues related to rotating equipment.

• To maintain effective history record of the main rotating equipment and to utilize such records to plan proper replacement of aged parts.

• To assist plants in identifying solutions to the day to day mechanical maintenance problems ensuring that the engineering standards and codes are met and to discuss with OEM the solutions to ensure effectiveness.

MARINE (Oil Tankers, Crude, Product, Oil & Gas) Asset Management Section Head Manager for Oil Tanker division and responsible for a fleet of around 15 vessels with a team of over 10 direct reports.

• Responsible for the overall management and technical operations of the fleet. This includes overseeing the daily operations of maintenance and repair, budgeting, survey schedules, onboard general assessment of vessels, inspections and docking, etc.
