BlackRock - Human Resource Intern

MAIT gave me a platform to grow professionally and explore

management in true sense. I would like to thank the college faculties

who are supportive and gave a real-view of the corporate world. It was

a great learning experience within heterogenous environment. The

class discussions were enriching that helped me become industry

ready. The institute’s corporate relations and active Placement Cell

helped me grab a campus placement at BlackRock as a Human

Resource Intern.

MAIT is undoubtedly one of the best college of IP university not only

in terms of the placement opportunities provided to the students but

also because this college offers the perfect balance between academics

and extra curricular activities. The faculty is extremely helpful and

very knowledgeable, with most of the professors holding rich industrial

experience. They are forever ready to clear all your queries regarding

academics and otherwise. The learning curve is always incremental and

opportunities are immense. Apart from academics, a number of co

curricular activities such as fests, summits and guest lectures are

conducted throughout the year to ensure that the learning is not limited

to classrooms alone. During my MBA, I had the privilege of

representing MAIT at the GST summit held in Delhi and also

compered for the Economic Summit hosted by our college- both the

activities have added significant value to my resume. All in all, MAIT

is a place where one can experience holistic development along with

the best two years of MBA that one will cherish lifelong.

I initially got selected for Moodys and worked there for about 6-7

months and after that I switched to another company S&P Capital IQ

and I am doing a great job there and the experience is really good in

Capital IQ. I learnt a lot here a got my hands dirty to explore and learn

new things happening in the international market as well as in the

corporate world.

College played an important role for this in my overall development, if

I talk about the studies, training sessions, personality development

sessions, placement sessions(alumni meets).These things helped me a

lot to know and acquire knowledge about the actual corporate

scenarios.

It provides plethora of opportunities, we have got very good brand companies

for campus placement, but nothing would be served on a platter, a lot depends

on how you use the two years.

Being the student placement coordinator at MAIT, working with a team, I learn

lot about the practical skills which help me in Corporate World, When you

enter corporate world no one sees your grade but it is how good you are in

diagrammatic representation to learn the concept of swaps, Anoop Sir's real-life

corporate examples on every situation to Rajiv Sir's Entrepreneurship lessons.

Also, the Placement Cell of MAIT is quite active under the leadership of Ms.

Sunita Tank. I am extremely thankful to Ms.Tank for providing me the guidance on

each and every situation and to produce the best out of me. Being a Student

Placement Coordinator helps me to closely analyze on how the corporate sector

works and in the end making it easy to adapt to it.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology not only provide you support in
