PROBLEM STATEMENT

We had given a task from Mobile Application

Development Club(MAD CLUB) advisors to come out

with an idea of mobile application used by UKM

students and lecturers

DEVELOP OUR SOLUTIONDEVELOP OUR SOLUTION• We search mobile application that have been develop by others

universities.

• We come out with an idea to develop mind mapping application

that come from University Malaysia Kelantan(UMK) which is

Mindomo.

• We brainstorm with our coach ,Coach Ali to discuss more about

mind mapping application.

• We make a research about mind mapping such as from blog and

also from other mind mapping application that exist now.

Mind map is a diagram used to visually organize information. Mind map

can be drawn by hand, either as “rough notes” during a lecture, meeting or

planning session. Mind mapping tools is popular among students and

lecturers. Millions of people use it to clarify thinking, manage complex

information, run brainstorming and get work organized. We want all

students and lecturers to have the same experience. This application is useful

to be developed into a mobile application so that it can be used anytime and

anywhere.

Mind mapping was developed by Buzan in 1970 (Buzan and Buzan, 1996)

after reviewing research on the psychology of learning and remembering.

According to Buzan and Buzan (1996) :

The mind map is an expression of radiant thinking and is therefore a function

of the human mind. It is a powerful graphic technique which provides a

universal key to unlocking the potential of the brain. The mind map can

be applied to every aspect of life.
