Since m y confnmation, each time a friend h as invited us to sit at his/her table, my husbandhas made a contribution to the organizatiun hosting the event equal to or greater than the fair market value of.two tickets to.the event. Each time, the invitation hascome from a close friend whose friendship long predated my nomination. A few of those friends are lawyer~ and could someday represeut clients in my court. In addition, the company states, under applicable govern mentregulations, an insurance policy is considered an asset, not an investment.
