Narrandera East students excelled themselves with their Christmas rendition at the Monster Street Party last Thursday night. Colourfully dressed, their voices were loud and strong, especially for our favourite Christmas song, Christmas Conga. Of course we were asked for an encore with that one! Well done everyone. Student reports were sent home to parents yesterday. If you have not received your child’s report by the end of the week please let the office know. Yesterday was a very special day for 14 of our students who celebrated their positive behaviour achievements with family and friends at the Gold Morning Tea. Congratulations to Zoe Hutchison, Charlie Ireland, Xaviar McClymont, Jaspar Beaumont, Louis Deen, Mia Buchanan, Ainsley Maver, Lydia Murcia, Isabelle Ewers, Harrison Cocks, Ryan Brewer, Lane Riddell, Sebastian Luck, and Amelia Howarth. Tomorrow our students will be involved in Keep Australia Beautiful workshops co-ordinated by Mrs Ash. Each session will run for an hour. Mrs Amery, Mrs Davis, Mrs Gawne and myself will be travelling to Albury on Wednesday to complete Health Procedures Training. On Wednesday afternoon from 5.00 - 6.30pm the P&C will be holding a Disco at the school. There is no charge for the disco but the canteen will be open for buying. Prices are the same as usual. A reminder about our Bike Day on Thursday. Please refer to the special note sent home by Mrs Beaumont last week. Year 2 students will be having their room recarpeted on Thursday as well. On Friday this week we welcome Mr Brad Russell, Relieving Director for the Wagga Network of Schools, to Narrandera East. This will be Brad’s first visit to our school.
