School Camp - August 6th-9th
Our Grade 4/5/6 students left for camp early Monday morning. We have heard from the staff on camp and everyone is having lots of fun exploring Melbourne. We look forward to their return tomorrow and hearing about their experiences.

Book Week - August 18th -24th
Book Week is always an exciting time of year where we celebrate books, authors and illustrators. On Friday 24th August,
all students are encouraged to come to school dressed up as their favourite book or book character. On this day we will
have a parade to share our creative costumes.
Life Education Van
We were fortunate to have the Life Education van visit our school over the past two weeks. This was a great opportunity for students to be involved in a fun interactive learning experience that was aimed at empowering children to make safer and healthier choices.
Interschool Lightning Premiership
Our Interschool Lightning Premiership was held last Friday with our Grade 4/5/6 students participating in either netball or football. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side and disrupted some of our netball games, however, everyone had a fabulous time and all students participated with the correct balance of
competitiveness, enjoyment and sportsmanship.
Condolences
We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to Matthew Baksh and the Baksh/Pridmore family on the passing of Daniel.
We are thinking of you all during this difficult time.

The Life Ed Van by Tristan Kendall
On Thursday 2nd August, Gayle and Harold the giraffe came to our school. They came to teach us about the importance of cyber safety and some of the ages that you should be if you want to use certain apps for example Minecraft surprisingly you should be eight to play. The Life Ed van gave us some tips to being cyber safe like never giving our your password to anyone besides yourself and your parents. You should also tell your parents if you are getting cyber bullied or if you see inappropriate things on technology. By Tristan Kendall
