The team included Feidhlim Barry (Capt.), Aaron Moroney, Brian Molloy, Mark Delaney, Sol Frost, Cian Gleeson, Darragh Whelan, Conor Meehan, Philip Connellan, Dylan Crowe & David Morrissey. Well done to all the players. Training after school continues every Tuesday and Thursdays. FAI 5-A-Side Soccer This week girls and boys of 5th/6th will represent Clonmoney NS in FAI 5-a– side soccer competition in Lees Road. The girls will play on Tuesday with the boys play-ing on Wednesday. Good luck to all involved. Croke Park Trip: Our Croke Park tripis nearing ever closer! Over 30 pupils from Clonmoney will at-tend and play at the launch of Go Games at GAA Headquarters on Monday March 30th. Community Games Well done to Cian Gleeson, Megan Gaule, Alex Ellison and Lochlan Gregson who re-cently took part in Sixmilebridge Community Games Quiz. We wish them the best of luck in the County stages. Lisa Quinn will represent Newmarket also. Congratulations and well done to Hannah Fitzgerald and Nell Patrick who finished 3rd overall in the project competition. Pictures on our website of the fantastic work the girls did on the History of the Community Games. Newmarket GAA Club Training Cora Chaitlín GAA would like to invite all its U6, U8 and U10 boys and girls back to training in the field for Sunday the 29thMarch at 11.00 am. We’d also like to thank everyone who joined in such numbers at the recent registration night in the club-house. There will be a further opportunity to register between 11.00 and 1.00 pm on the first Sunday of training. Remember if you don’t register you will not be insured to play the games.

Write A Book Project Well done to all the First Class pupils from Ms Killeen’s room who are almost finished writing their books for the Write-A-Book competi-tion. This involves all the children drafting and editing their books before finally submitting their work to the Clare Education Centre at the end of this term. Every child participating in this project will re-ceive a Write A Book Certificate and there will be prizes for the best entries from all over the county. The work in 1st class on this is phenomenal and all the children deserve great credit for such an amazing achievement at such a young age.

Junior Infant Tour—Consent Form A reminder to all parents of the Junior and Senior Infants that there is a consent form with Yvonne in the office that must be signed for their school tour to Shannon Fire Station in June. This is essential for the tour to go ahead and we would greatly appreciate it if you can drop in before this Friday the 27th and sign the form. Thank you. As you will see from the Dates For Your Diary Section, Ms Cullinan will have her Parent Information Evening for new pupils starting in Juniors in this year on Thursday 28th of May at 7:30pm.

Parents Association: The last meeting of our Parents Association took place on March 18th. This year all pupils are asked to make their Easter Bonnets at home and on Friday 27th March, there will be an Easter Bonnet Parade, where there will be a prize for the best boy and girl in each class. Every pupil will receive a small egg for taking part. Over the Easter holidays, we are asking all families to gather up un-wanted library books and children’s novels, as the PA will hold a book sale for all pupils on Thursday May 21st in the school. All families will also receive bags this week for a Cash for Clobber clearout of unwanted clothes, pairs of shoes, curtains and sheets. No toys or duvets are accepted. The bags will be collected after Easter break on Friday 17th April. School Calendar 2015/16 Please note that the dates of school closures for the school year 2015/16 are now on the website in the school information section. This will allow you to plan any family holidays around the dates when the school is closed. The dates for Christmas, Easter and Mid-terms are standardised for all schools. We will issue a copy of this calendar with end of year school reports in June.
