Weekend Parade 5. ‘B’ and ‘C’ Cert Examinations 6. Social Activity 7. Various Camps National Cadets Corps is one of the biggest voluntary organizations in India. It is functioning under the direct control of Defense Ministry of India. NCC is divided in to Seventeen directorates. Maharashtra Directorate is one of them. Strength of NCC unit of college is 54 SD; it is under the 53, Maharashtra Battalion Latur. Cadets participated in different National level and state level camps. Cadets of college continuously participated in National level camp such as RDC, TSC and NIC. On 8 th July 2016 23 students were enrolled from first year so that it will fulfill the complete strength of 54. The first, second year and third year cadets had 28parades (60 Hours) of stipulated parades. The cadets performance in ‘B’ and ‘C’ Certificate Examinations has been outstanding. The camp vacancy utilization was done at optimum level. In the Academic year 2016-17 first CATC camp was at Bhabhalgaon.

Properties of NCC Unit:

7. Various Camps

National Cadets Corps is one of the biggest voluntary organizations in India. It is functioning

under the direct control of Defense Ministry of India. NCC is divided in to Seventeen

directorates. Maharashtra Directorate is one of them. Strength of NCC unit of college is 54 SD; it

is under the 53, Maharashtra Battalion Latur. Cadets participated in different National level and

state level camps. Cadets of college continuously participated in National level camp such as

RDC, TSC and NIC.

On 8th July 2016 23 students were enrolled from first year so that it will fulfill the

complete strength of 54. The first, second year and third year cadets had 28parades (60 Hours) of

stipulated parades. The cadets performance in ‘B’ and ‘C’ Certificate Examinations has been

outstanding. The camp vacancy utilization was done at optimum level.

In the Academic year 2016-17 first CATC camp was at Bhabhalgaon.

1. The Nanded CATC camp was held from 16th June to 26th June 2016. In this camp 03 students

were selected.

2. In the Babhalgaon CATC camp 12 student were selected the camp duration was from 8th Sept

2016 to 18th Sept 2016.

3. For ATC camp Bhabhalgaon 10 students were selected. The camp duration was 09-01-2017

to 18-01-2017.

NCC activities in the Academic year 2016-17

1. International Yoga Day: 22 cadets led by the ANO participated in the International

Yoga Day Celebrated at on 21st June 2017.

2. Enrollment: SM Bhalerao sir guided to NCC Cadet during first year Enrollment.

3. Swachta Pakhwada Campaign: The cleanliness campaign i.e. the Swachta Pakhwada

was undertaken at District court on 9th August 2016. In this campaign 36 cadets

participated and whole court area was cleaned.

4. Tree Plantation: On tree plantation was done in our college under the guidance of

respected Principal Dr A.M.Palnitkar sir, NSS Programme Officer Dr B.T Chavan Sir.

5. Blood Donation: NCC Cadets donated blood in the Blood donation Programme

conducted on in our college in collaboration with NSS cell

6. Independence Day: Independence Day was celebrated with usual fervor and enthusiasm

on 15th August, 2016. In our Education society all colleges comes together and celebrate

Independence Day. The responsibility of making arrangements of Independence day is

given to NCC department of our college. The National Flag was unfurled by our Hon’ble

Shri Laxmiraman Lahoti (President Dayanand Education Society Latur). On this occasion

Vice-President of Institute, Secretary of Institute, Principal, Vice-principal, NCC cadets,

students, parents and whole staff of our Dayanand Education society were present.

7. Republic Day: Republic Day was celebrated with usual fervor and enthusiasm on 26th

January, 2017. In our Education society all colleges comes together and celebrate

Republic Day. The responsibility of making arrangements of Republic day is given to

NCC department of Dayanand college of Science. The National Flag was unfurled by our

Hon’ble Shri Laxmiraman Lahoti (President Dayanand Education Society Latur). On this

occasion Vice-President of Institute, Secretary of Institute, Principal, Vice-principal,

NCC cadets, students, parents and whole staff of our Dayanand Education society were

present.
