TUNISIA National Institute of Marine Sciences & Technology Tunisian Information Centre IC Catalogue : The INSTM library became an IC of NODC-Tunisia in 2001. Its catalogue contains: 6705 Monographs, 1207 Journal titles, 220 journal articles and 221 audiovisuals documents. The database was created with Inmagic software and will be converted to ABCD, the free software developed by VLIR (Belgium) using the OAI protocol (Open Archives Initiative). OceanDocs : www.oceandocs.org The IC uses this platform to create an e-version of “INSTM Bulletin”. It submits 85 records and about 20 articles are in a progressive stage. This e-repository is based on DSpace to offer Open Access to the literature. IAMSLIC: www.iamslic.org The IC is a member in the International Association of Aquatic and Marine Science Libraries and Information Centers (IAMSLIC). Its Distributed Library project is designed to share resources among aquatic science libraries (73 libraries in 23 countries).
