Closing KeynoteOn Thursday, April 30 from 8-9:15am, Closing Keynote presenter Jonathan Bush, co-founder and CEO of athenahealth, calls for a revolution in health care—one which gives patients more choice, power and information, at far lower prices. From birthing centers in Florida to urgent care centers in West Virginia, upstarts are disrupting health care by focusing on cost, quality, and the technologies that make them possible. Urgent care practices especially are at the vanguard of healthcare delivery innovation. In this presentation, Jonathan will define a playbook for urgent care leaders to help them remain on the front lines, at the intersection of quality and convenience. Jonathan will offer a vision and plan for change, as well as a fresh take on what the experience of health care can be.
Board ElectionsDirectors of the UCAOA Board are elected by members in a democratic annual election. UCAOA members will have the opportunity to e-vote before the convention or on site by using a voting kiosk in UCAOA Central. Newly elected directors will be announced at the Closing Keynote on Thursday, April 30 from 8-9:15am.

Members’ BreakfastUCAOA members are welcome to attend a special recognition breakfast on Wednesday, April 29 from 8-9:15am. TAP INSTEAD OF TYPE.
I like that we can design our own
templates. This lets us quickly
and easily document a complete
chart—without the need of
time-consuming manual typing.
We can tap instead of type.
I can add pertinent positives and
negatives, physical exam ndings,
and so on to templates that are
customized to each and every chief
complaint. A template only needs
to be customized one time, and it is
then easily accessed by all providers
with one simple click.
In my experience, dierent providers
have very specically worded
information they like to use when
documenting a patient’s chart.
Being able to customize the templates
prevents providers from having to
routinely manually type in
information, and makes the chart
personalized for each provider and
patient. This saves us tons of time.”
