All NAU Math Placement Tests are required to be proctored and require a password to access. You will only be able to complete the test at a pre-approved testing location. The list of pre-approved testing locations can be found at nau.edu/MathPlacement.

Additional Student Information Enroll in the test before you go to the testing center to ensure your testing experience goes smoothly.

o Enroll at https://nau.edu/enroll_math_placement. Double check the testing center’s hours and determine if you need to schedule an appointment. No children are allowed. Please do not bring children under 18 years old with you to the testing

locations. No breaks are allowed during testing. You may not leave the testing room once you have begun your

test. You will not be allowed to use a calculator, cell phone or formula sheet during the test. You are allowed to use a blank piece of paper and pencil during the test. If you require additional testing accommodations due to disability, please communicate about your

needs with the testing center ahead of your test. You must provide a Letter of Eligibility from NAU’s Disability Resources to receive accommodations. Contact DR@nau.edu.

Allow yourself enough time to complete the test.The placement test consists of two parts: Level 1 and Level 2.Level 2 will become available if you earn a sufficient score on Level 1.Level 1 has a time limit of 90 minutes. Level 2 has a time limit of 60 minutes.
