NOTICE OF MARINE CASUALTY

Immediate notification to the Coast Guard

Immediate notification means AFTER addressing safety concerns.

The owner, agent, master, operator or person in charge shall notify the nearest Sector Office, Marine Inspection Office, or Coast Guard Group office.

Reporting to Sector Houston – Galveston can be accomplished by contacting the Sector Watch Center over VHF Ch. 16 or by phone (713-678-9058).
