KEY SELECTIONS4H Kentucky (+) over AUBURN - The last 3 meetings have been decided by just 13 points. Aub only has 10 starters back but we expect Bo Nix to show significant improvement after throwing for 2,542 (58%, 16-6) last season. KY returns 15 starters and will go back to a more balanced offense with the return of ‘18’s starter Terry Wilson. KY ended ‘19 with 4 straight wins/covers. Aub was +27 ypg in SEC play last year while KY was +22 ypg. Aub went 4-1 as home chalk LY but they were just 6-17-1 in that role from ‘15-’18. KY’s last road win against an SEC West opponent actually came here back in ‘09 and we think this KY team actually has the edge in the trenches, especially with their Oline where they return 4 starters and their defense only allowed 19.3 ppg last year. KY is 17-10 as a dog since ‘16 so we will call for KY to keep this VERY tight. FORECAST: AUBURN by 1 3H Texas over TEXAS TECH - Texas leads series 52-17 and since ‘10 are 8-2 SU & ATS vs TT. LY Texas (-9) only led TT by 7 pts at HT, but held them to a FG in the 2H and won 49-24 (610-470, Tex +2 TO’s). Both teams are off a bye. Texas won their opener 59-3 over UTEP (689-233) where QB Ehlinger threw for 426 yds (75% & 5 td) while TT gave up 600 yds and had to hang on vs FCS Houston Baptist 35-33, but TT QB Bowman did throw for 430 yds in the win. Texas gave up 431 ypg & 28 ppg LY, but return 9 DEF st’rs. TT had several players miss the game 2 wks ago & it is unknown who will be back for this game as of presstime. Texas HC Herman is 2-5 ATS as road chalk the L2Y, but the home team is on a 3-8 ATS slide. With both teams having strong offenses, the difference here will be defense. Texas looks to have the better DEF and TT just gave up 572 pass yds to an FCS tm and now face a Heisman contender QB. Texas is also more exp’d (#34 vs #78) and their stronger DEF will help them secure more than a 3 td win. FORECAST: TEXAS by 253H Army (+) over CINCINNATI - 7th mtg. Last met in 2004, Army snapped a 19-gm losing streak with a 48-29 win over the Bearcats. Cincy only faced an FCS team last week & won 55-20, while Army is coming off a bye. Army has played 2 FBS gms (Middle Tenn & ULM) & their defense has all’d just 192 ypg and a total of 7 pts. Cincy’s offense has 6 st’rs back incl dual-threat QB Ridder who gained 253 total yds last week. Cincy faced the Navy option back in ’18 & won 42-0 (held Navy to 124 rush yds). The Cincy DEF has 9 st’rs back & all’d 139 rush yds (3.6 ypc) last ssn, but faces an Army team running for 388 ypg (6.1) to begin this season. Cincy will have limited fans in attendance, so there is no real home edge and Army looks like a well-oiled machine early on. This is Army’s toughest test so far in 2020 but they will slow the clock down with the option and make this game close. FORECAST: CINCINNATI by 4

OTHER SELECTIONS2H West Virginia (+) over OKLAHOMA ST - OSU has won the last 5 meetings both SU & ATS, but all of those games were decided by 11 points or less. LY despite OSU winning 20-13 WVU outgained them 333-285 incl throwing for 307 yds. OSU was supposed to play Tulsa 2 wks ago but that gm was moved to last week & the Cowboys only managed 277 yds & 16 pts. Of bigger note OSU QB Sand-ers left early with an ankle inj and his status is up in the air. WVU is off a bye after crusing to a 56-10 win vs E.Kentucky (624-206). The WVU offense brings back 8 st’rs incl QB Doege who threw for 228 yds (76%, 3-0) two weeks ago. WVU all’d 159 rush ypg LY (3.8) and return an exp’d DLine who held OSU RB Hubbard to 107 yds (4.1) LY. WVU was 3-1 ATS as an away dog under in Big 12 play HC Brown LY and with how slow OSU’s offense looked last week we like WVU to hang around. FORECAST: OKLAHOMA ST by 3

OTHER GAMESTHUR September 24Uab at SOUTH ALABAMA - First mtg was last year. UAB put up a season high 514 yards (115 yds above their avg) and held SAla to 190 in their 35-3 (-10’) win. The Blazers enter off a bye following their 31-14 (+14’) loss at Miami on a Thurs night. We’ve sided with SAla in both of their first two games, picking up a Free Newsletter Marquee winner and a 3H in these pages two weeks ago. The Jaguars also enter off a bye. UAB will be without QB Johnston but rFr Bryson Lucero got reps in each of their first 2 games. HC Campbell obviously has the Jaguars trending in the right direction and they are looking for their 2nd home upset over a CUSA foe after they beat SMiss in their opener. SAla is on a 5-1 run as a home dog but this will be their toughest test to date against a UAB squad that returns 18 starters. Call 1-800-654-3448 to get our Thurs Night Marquee!FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 25THMiddle Tennessee at UTSA - UTSA was originally scheduled to play Memphis, but that game was cancelled due to Covid so MT stepped up. These two split 2 meetings in ‘15-’16 with the road team winning both. MT lost 4 starters to injury after their opener but that doesn’t even totally explain how bad they’ve performed in their first 2 games. MT has been outgained by 220 ypg and they’ve struggled to run the ball, avg just 81 (3.1) rush ypg. UTSA has won their first 2 games under HC Traylor including LW’s 24-10 (-14’) win over SF Austin. RB McCormick has 295 (6.1) and UTSA has posted 499 & 498 yds while MT allowed Troy to put up 496. UTSA is 8-16 as a HF. SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 26THUcf by 27 over EAST CAROLINA - ECU leads series 10-8 SU, but since ‘12 UCF is 6-1 SU & 5-2 ATS. LY UCF (-35’) jumped out to a 35-6 HT lead, but scored just 6 pts in the 2H and won 41-28. UCF has a GUB edge after last wk’s game at GTech where they put up 660 yds on OFF incl 417 pass yds from QB Gabriel. In their last 3 mtgs the Pirate DEF all’d 547 ypg & 47 ppg to UCF & they only get back 4 DEF st’rs. UCF’s DEF all’d 483 & 496 yds in the L/2 mtgs, but have 8 DEF st’rs back & 12 of the top 13 tkl’rs however they did give up 471 yds to GTech, but did force 5 TO’s. ECU QB Ahlers threw for 313 yds LY vs UCF, but the Knights return 4 players with start exp to their secondary & they had 2 int’s last wk. ECU is just 3-9 ATS the L4Y as a home dog and the home team is on a 1-5 ATS slide in this series. UCF is 13-8 ATS under Heupel off a SU win and with UCF having a potential path to the playoff this ssn they need to stack up impressive wins & we think they get one here.CHARLOTTE by 4 over Georgia St - 3rd mtg, the road team won both games SU/ATS. In their last mtg in ‘17 GSt forced 3 TO’s and shutout UC 28-0. GSt is coming off a tough loss at home vs LA where they nearly upset the ranked Cajuns, losing 34-31 in OT. Char was scheduled to play N.Car last week but it was cancelled. UC last ply'd 2 wks ago vs App St and despite getting outgained by 226 yds (286-512) the 49ers kept it close & lost 35-20. QB Reynolds is a ? here after suffering a shoulder inj 2 wks ago (11-30, 140 yds, 0-2 vs App). GSt rFr QB Brown ttl'd 260 yds in his 1st start & RB Coates ran for 150 yds against a solid LA DEF. GSt is just 3-7-3 ATS as an away dog under HC Elliott.Usf by 1 over FAU - Last met in 2013, FAU (+12’) secured the outright upset on the road, winning 28-10. USF outgained them 286-228, but forced 3 TO’s incl a fumble return for TD. USF will have a 2 GUB edge after FAU’s opener was cancelled. USF enters off a 52-0 blowout loss at Notre Dame. where they allowed 429 yds incl 281 rush yds. FAU was set to bring back 6 st’rs on OFF but QB Robison (1st Tm CUSA LY) was dismissed and they also lose their top 3 receivers from LY. FAU all’d over 200 rush yds 6 times LY and this year only return 3 st’rs on DEF. USF has all’d 241 rush ypg this season & FAU brings back their top 3 RB’s and new QB Tronti does have mobility. FAU has had little time to practice recently (positive covid tests) and they got in ZERO spring practices with a new HC. USF was only a favorite 3 times last ssn, but was 3-0 ATS in that role, 1-0 in that role this ssn. We think the game-under-belt edge & exp edge is signficiant enough to lean with USF.

MIAMI, FL by 7 over Florida St - Miami has won 3 straight over their rival but FSU had won 7 straight previous meetings. The home team is just 2-12 ATS and the underdog is 12-3. FSU will be without HC Norvell due to Covid. Deputy HC Chris Thomsen will fill the role and does have HC experience (7Y at Abil Christian). Miami enters after pulling an outright upset over Louisville, 47-34 (+2’). The Canes did give up 516 yards including 209 on the ground. RB Harris has topped 100 yards in each of their F/2 and QB King threw for 325 and 3 td’s. FSU got an extra week to prep for Miami after their loss to GT 2 weeks ago. The ‘Noles have 10 starters back on defense and with an extra week to prepare so we expect they will look much improved after their poor performance against GT. Series trends certainly favor the underdog and the public is catching up on Miami.Georgia Tech by 3 over SYRACUSE - This is Cuse’s first time hosting the Jackets. GT is 3-0 SU all-time vs Cuse. The Orange offense has struggled mightily in their first 2 games, averaging just 187 ypg and they’ve already been sacked 14 times. Their defense has kept them in both games, only trailing 7-6 3Q vs NC and last week they ony lost 21-10 (+21) at Pitt. We picked up both a 3H Power Sweep winner and LPS going against GT against UCF last week. The Jackets moved the ball well, finishing with 471 yards and 23 FD’s but had 5 costly TO’s. They only trailed 28-21 4Q before UCF pulled away. The Orange should be able to move the ball better against a Jackets defense that just allowed 660 yards. This is Syracuse’s home opener and 9 of Babers 12 ACC wins have come at home. We don’t trust Cuse’s offense enough to call for the upset but they should keep this closer than expected. GT is 2-8 as an AF while Cuse is 11-7 as an ACC dog.Louisville by 3 over PITTSBURGH - Pitt has won 5 of the last 6 mtgs and are on a 6-1 ATS series run. The Cardinals did win 7 straight between ‘90 and ‘07. Pitt enters off an unspectacular 21-10 (-21) home win over Syracuse. The Panthers got 7 sacks against the porous Orange Oline but 3 missed fg tries kept it closer and Pitt did finish with 342-171 yard and 23-10 FD edges. Louisville held a 516-485 yard & 29-19 FD edges but 3 TO’s were crucial as they lost at home vs Miami 47-34 (-2’). The Panthers have a stout defense that held foes to 313 ypg LY and just 155 ypg in their F/2. UL averaged 502 ypg in their first 2 and they’ve got loads of weapons but Pitt brings one of the top defenses in the ACC led by S Paris Ford. UL is only 1-7 as an AD but Pitt is just 7-13-1 as a HF. The Cardinals were 3-1 ATS off a loss LY and we like the Cardinals edge on offense and ST’s to be the difference.† Notre Dame by 24 over WAKE FOREST - This game is being played at Bank of America Stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers. ND is 5-0 SU but only 2-3 ATS vs WF, with all 5 previous meetings coming since 2011. In the last meeting ND put up 566 yds and 56 pts in a 29 pt win that resulted in WF’s DC getting fired. The Irish demolished USF 52-0 (-24) last week. ND had 279-65 yard & 15-1 FD edges at halftime. We went against WF last week and picked up a 3H LPS winner in their 45-42 (E) loss at NCSt. The Deacons only finished with 385 yds and gave up 270 rush yards. ND had 281 rush yds including 127 from RB C’Bo Flemister. ND is +153 ypg in their first 2 and WF is -155 ypg. We think ND's powerful Oline and deep RB's corps will wear down a WF defense that looks susceptible to the run last week.Tennessee by 3 over SOUTH CAROLINA - Tenn had lost 7 straight games against Will Muschamp until LY when the Vols won 41-21 (+4’) after trailing 21-17 at half. Prior to last year 7 straight meet-ings were decided by 7 points or less. SC has 13 starters back and Muschamp is going with Colo St transfer Colin Hill, who played under new OC Bobo. Tenn has 16 starters back including their all 5 on their Oline and all 3 on their Dline. SC lost their star true frosh RB Marshawn Lloyd to a knee inj but did add JUCO transfer Zaquandre White (orig FSU). Tenn is more experienced but haven’t been able to practice consistenly recently due to covid cases. It’s not often that we think the deciding edge comes at kicker, but this series is always close and Tenn has a slight edge with Cimaglia (23-27, L/53) over SC’s Parker White (18-22, L/50). Vols by a fg.BAYLOR by 14 over Kansas - Baylor is on an 8-0 SU & ATS run vs Kansas. However this is a dif-ferent Baylor team than in yrs past. Baylor returns 9 st’rs, with 7 of those starters being on OFF incl QB Brewer (3161, 65%, 21-7) but only 2 starters are back on DEF and they lose 9 of their top 11 tkl’rs from a unit that allowed 360 ypg & 19.8 ppg. Baylor’s new HC Dave Aranda got in ZERO spring practices with this team. KU outgained CCar in their opener (367-318) but lost 38-23 (down 28-3 HT) largely due to 3 costly TO’s. KU has the GUB edge & are off a bye, while Baylor was set to play Houston last wk but saw that gm get cancelled. Baylor comes in with just a 3-8 ATS record as home chalk the L3Y & KU was 4-0 ATS LY as a dog of 20+ points. We’ll side with Baylor here, but only by 2 td’s as they have yet to play & Kansas did show signs of life in the 2H vs CCar. BYU by 21 over Troy - First meeting. Troy is coming off a 47-14 win at Midd Tenn as new QB Watson looked good (248, 70%, 2-1) and the run game gashed MT for 240 yds. BYU has not played since Sep. 7 vs Navy after having their game against Army cancelled last week. It is tough to see Troy having success on the ground here against a team that held the option to 119 yds (3.1). Troy will also have to deal with the elevation in Provo (4,551 feet) as they are not used to playing in those conditions. Troy’s DEF did hold MT to just 241 yds, but face a much tougher BYU offense that put up 580 yds vs Navy. BYU also has a significant exp edge here (#15 vs #109) and Troy is 0-3 ATS as a road dog under HC Lindsey & were also 0-3 ATS as a DD dog last ssn. We like the more exp’d & better rested team here to win by 3 td’s.Alabama by 31 over MISSOURI - Bama has won all 4 recent meetings against Mizzou and Bama is 3-0 ATS in SEC meetings. New Tigers HC Eli Drinkwitz wasn’t thrilled to see this as his first game when SEC schedule came out. Bama has 12 starters back and defense should be much improved after allowing 18.6 ppg, their highest since Saban’s first year as HC, with key LB’s Moses & McMillon back from injuries. Mizzou has 11 starters back but only 4 on offense. The Tigers did add transfer Shawn Robinson (8 starts at TCU) and their defense only allowed 19.4 ppg LY with 7 starters back but they didn’t have to face any of the top 3 SEC West offenses. Bama does have A&M on deck but HC Saban is 12-1 SU/9-4 ATS in road openers while Missouri is 1-11 SU/4-8 ATS vs ranked foes so we will side with the Tide.HOUSTON by 14 over North Texas - Houston is 4-0 SU & ATS the L/4 mtgs. Met last season and Houston (+7’) went on the road and pulled the outright upset 46-25. Houston brings back 19 st’rs (10 OFF/9 DEF) and QB Tune got valuable exp LY after being thrown into fire mid-season and has the top 5 receivers back from LY. NTex has a 2 GUB edge as this is Houston’s opener, but NTex has all’d 569 & 710 yds in their F/2 gms. NTex did put up 517 yds last wk vs SMU, but this should be the best DEF they face so far. Houston has a huge exp edge (#4 vs #119) and it is tough to back a NTex squad who is on a 4-16 ATS slide vs FBS foes & Houston HC Holgorsen did go 3-1 ATS vs non-conf foes LY. We will back Houston here, but without seeing them play yet, we’ll cut our lean off at 2 TD’s.

OTHER COLLEGE GAMES cont from page 3Florida by 16 over MISSISSIPPI - LTH was actually Tim Tebow’s first road start and Gators won 30-24 as 23 pt chalk. Last meeting was in ‘15, Gators blitzed #3 Rebels as 6’ pt dogs in 38-10 win. This is Lane Kiffin’s first game as Rebels HC. The Gators brought back 12 starters including QB Trask (2941, 67%, 25-7). Ole Miss also has 12 starters back including 8 on offense. Florida closed ‘19 with 4 straight wins including covers in their last 3 regular season games. HC Mullen was 5-4 SU/ATS vs Ole Miss during his time at Miss St. The Rebels should be an improved team but in front of a small crowd we think Florida will win by 2 td’s and Mullen is 5-1 as an AF and Kiffin was only 1-4 as a home dog at USC. LOUISIANA by 16 over Georgia Southern - 4th mtg as SBC foes, with home team go-ing 0-3 both SU & ATS. LY LA (-3) went to GS and outgained the Eagles on the ground 275-215 (LA 6.5 ypc) and won 37-24 (+188 yds, - 2 TO’s). LA has 2 gms under their belt as they won 34-31 (519-419) vs GSt in OT last wk, as QB Lewis threw for 279 yds & RB Mitchell ran for 164 yds (10.3 ypc!). GS was missing 33 players (7 st’rs) 2 wks ago & barely beat FCS Campbell 27-26 (failed 2-pt attempt by Campbell to end gm) and had their game last wk cancelled vs FAU. GS QB Werts ran well in the opener (155, 11.1) and is the leader of the offense. LA was missing a couple DEF st’rs & all’d GSt to run for 223 yds last week. The road team has done well in series, but with the status of several key GS still a mystery as of presstime we will side with a Cajuns squad who will have their top playmakers and were 5-3 ATS as SBC chalk & 4-2 ATS as home chalk a year ago. OKLAHOMA by 31 over Kansas St - OU leads series 76-20-4 SU. KSt (+23’) pulled the outright upset at home LY 48-41. Before LY’s upset OU had won L/4 mtgs SU by avg of 30 ppg & were 3-1 ATS. KSt was outgained 489-374 two wks ago vs Ark St (+2 TO’s) and all’d 330 pass yds, but have a talented secondary & had a bye week to fix mistakes. Aginst KSt OU HC Riley’s teams have avg’d 616 yds & 45 pts. KSt QB Thompson is talented but their OFF has just 3 st’rs back & faces an OU DEF with 8 st’rs back & 8 of the top 10 tkl’rs. OU is without 2 key players (RB Brooks, DL Redmond) who both opted out. KSt is an impressive 18-5 ATS as a conf dog the L4Y incl going 5-1 ATS under HC Klieman LY in that role while OU is just 5-10 ATS the L2Y as DD conf chalk. However we are concerned about Kansas St, who has had their practices disrupted by Covid so we will take the Sooners by more than 4 td’s.Georgia by 21 over ARKANSAS - The last time Ark won their SEC opener was in 2010 when they upset Georgia on the road. Hogs are unlikely to be so fortunate here and they’ve lost 7 of the last 8 series mtgs (5-3 ATS). UGA has won 5 straight road openers including 3 straight covers. The Dawgs have one of the top defenses in the country with 8 starters back from a unit that allowed just 12.6 ppg but they’ve also got major questions on offense where they have to replace a #2DC RB, 4 starting Oline and a #5DC QB. They added WF transfer QB Newman but he opted out, leaving USC transfer JT Daniels (missed LY with knee inj) and D’Wan Mathis to compete for the job. Ark has 14 starters back and added Florida transfer QB Franks. New Hogs HC Pittman was the Oline Cch at UGA and knows the Bulldogs personnel so we think Ark can keep this within 4 td’s. UGA also has Auburn on deck and they are 7-13 as 20+ point chalk.Iowa St by 6 over TCU - 12th mtg, 9th as Big 12 foes. These tms comb’d to score 52 pts in ‘17-’18 but LY Iowa St (-3.5) hung 49 pts & 436 yds on a solid TCU defense. Iowa St comes in the with the GUB edge, but were upset at home 2 wks ago by Louisiana 31-14 (303-272, LA 2 ST scores). TCU had their opener cancelled, so now this is their opener. TCU QB Duggan’s status is unknown & his likely replacement would be soph Downing who has not taken a snap since ‘18 & has 10 career pass att. TCU did run for 204 ypg LY, but face an ISU run DEF that held a potent LA rush attack to 118 yds (3.4 ypc). ISU QB Purdy was held to 145 pass yds 2 wks ago & now faces an exp’d pass D that finished #6 LY. ISU has won the L/4 mtgs ATS & TCU is just 5-13 ATS the L2Y in Big 12 play. ISU HC Campbell is also 5-2 ATS the L3Y as away chalk. With both teams having exp’d DEF’s & offenses still finding their way, we expect this game to remain close. LSU by 21 over Mississippi St - LSU has controlled this series at home where they’ve gone 13-1 SU/11-3 ATS. The Bulldogs were 1 of only 2 teams that held LSU below 40 points but the Tigers still won by 25 as 18’ pt chalk and the Miss St’s final td came with just :59 left. This is Mike Leach’s first game as HC at Miss St. The Bulldogs only have 11 starters back and they are running a totally different offensive system but they did get a big addition with Stanford transfer QB KJ Costello. It’s hard to gague how good LSU will be with just 5 starters back after WR Ja’Marr Chase, NB Kary Vincent and DT Tyler Shelvin opted out (Shelvin may return) but the Tigers were able to get their backups lots of experience last year thanks to so many blowout wins and we favor Orgeron’s 24-7 SU/22-9 ATS record vs SEC foes and Miss St is on an 0-6 run as an AD.TEXAS A&M by 31 over Vanderbilt - A&M is 2-0 SU/ATS vs Vandy with those meetings coming in ‘13 and ‘15. The Aggies have taken perhaps the biggest losses among players that have opted out with their best WR and CB as well as their #2 tackler opting out. They

still have 14 starters back including QB Mond. Vandy doesn’t have a single QB that was on their roster last season but all 11 starters are back on defense and HC Mason does his best work with experienced defenses. The Aggies are 12-4 as chalk under Jimbo Fisher while Vandy is on a 6-16 ATS run. Vandy’s defense is experienced but the ‘Dores plan to rotate their young guys and Vandy’s QB and OLine are huge issues against a talented Aggies team. A&M does have Bama on deck but we still lean chalk here.ARKANSAS ST by 2 over Tulsa - Last met in 2018, Ark St (E) went up 27-7 in the 3Q, but Tulsa came back to cut it to 27-20. Ark St recorded a safety then ran out clock for 29-20 win. Ark St was coming off a win vs Kansas St on the road (489-374) and were set to face FCS C.Ark but that game was cancelled. Tulsa’s game vs Okla St was pushed back from Sept 12 to last week, and Tulsa (+23’) hung with OSU and lost 16-7. However, it was annonced before the game that RB Brooks (1046 yds LY) is OFY with a torn ACL. Tulsa did allow just 138 pass yds (OSU WR Wallace 94 yds) but face an Ark St team that is avg’g 315 pass yds this ssn & WR Adams had 3 td’s vs KSt. Tulsa is 4-1 ATS the L2Y as a road dog and while Ark St is 7-14 ATS the L5Y vs non-conf foes, they are 2-0 ATS this ssn vs non-conf foes. This game is nearly a tossup in our eyes & we’ll give a small lean to the home team.Fiu by 1 over LIBERTY - First meeting. Liberty has a GUB edge after going to WKU last week as a 15-point dog and came away with the outright upset 30-24. New LU QB Willis was a true dual-threat QB, running for 168 yds (8.0, 3 td) and passing for 133 yds. FIU brings back just 10 st’rs (4 OFF/6 DEF), had zero spring practices and have to replace a 4th rd NFL pick at QB, but do have an exp’d HC in Butch Davis. While Liberty’s run defense played well vs WKU, their pass DEF gave up 3 td’s and all’d WKU’s QB to hit 72% of his passes. FIU gave up 199 rush ypg LY but have 6 seniors in their front 7 and should be better vs the run. FIU has a dual-threat QB of their own (Kaylan Wiggins) who could be the starter here & will give the FIU DEF a good look at what to expect from LU QB Willis. FIU is 7-3 ATS the L2Y in non-conf play & while LU looked good last week, FIU has film on them and we expect HC Davis to get his team ready & pull off the road win.SOUTHERN MISS by 3 over Tulane - This is a rematch of LY’s Armed Forces Bowl won by Tulane 30-13 (-7’). QB Abraham left that game due to inj at half when the Eagles led 13-7. SM lost by 17 but was only outgained 379-359. SM was 9-1 SU/7-3 ATS in mtgs prior to the Bowl. Both teams enter after blowing double-digit leads last week. We picked up our 2nd straight Big Dog outright upset winner going against Tulane (Call 1-800-654-3448, just $9 on Thursdays). Tulane had a 291-59 yard edge and led 24-0 at half before letting Navy storm back. Transfer QB Howard struggled in his first start (40%, 0-1) and now faces his former team. Interim HC Walden made his debut last week and SMiss led 27-10 3Q but LT rallied and got the GW td pass with :14 left. SM held LT to 163 (3.9) rushing and LY Tulane only had 164 (3.4) in the bowl. Tulane is 3-8 ATS on the road and we call for SMiss to get revenge.ULM by 9 over Utep - First meeting. ULM outgained TXSt last week 444-398, but lost 38-17 (2 TO’s incl pick six). UTEP was outgained last week by FCS Abilene Christian 308-293, but the Miners benefited from being +2 in TO’s and won 17-13. ULM QB Suits looked better last week, throwing for 377 yds & 2 td, but the run game still stalled, only running for 67 yds (2.6 ypc). UTEP has played 3 gms, but only 1 FBS foe (lost at Texas 59-3, outgained 689-233) and are avg’g only 297 yds and 15 pts this season. ULM holds a 5-16-1 ATS home record under HC Viator incl a 1-9-1 ATS record as home chalk. UTEP is 1-8-1 ATS off a SU win the L6Y incl 0-2 ATS under HC Dimel. Despite the poor home ATS record, ULM does appear to have a slight talent edge & we will give a slight lean to the Warhawks.BOSTON COLLEGE by 17 over Texas St - First meeting and also BC’s first game against a current Sun Belt foe. The Eagles picked an outright upset win at Duke in their opener, 26-6 (+5’). Notre Dame transfer QB Phil Jurkovec threw for 300 yards and 2 td’s in his first career start. The final score was a bit deceiving as BC only finished with a 384-351 yard edge. TXSt comes in off their first win of the season, beating ULM 38-17 (-4) despite getting outgained 444-398. We could see BC focusing on the ground game here after averaging just 2.0 ypc last week. TXSt held ULM to 67 rush yds but the prior week they allowed 330 (6.5) vs UTSA. The Eagles were 1-4 ATS vs non conf foes LY and 0-3 as a HF. TXSt played SMU tough earlier this year and with BC looking ahead to North Carolina we will side with the Bobcats.VIRGINIA TECH by 4 over NCSt - VT has won 4 straight mtgs with the last 3 coming by DD’s but they haven’t met since 2015. We picked up a 3H LPS winner on NCSt last week when they beat WF 45-42 (E). Bailey Hockman was the surprise starter at QB (Leary missed too much practice due to Covid). VT had their ssn opener vs UVA cancelled. The Hokies have 17 starters back from LY while NCSt brought back 15. The Wolfpack run game was extremely impressive with RB’s Knight & Person both avg more than 7.0 ypc. VT was 1-4 as a HF last year and the Wolfpack have a GUB edge.

COMPUTERUNDERDOG PLAY OF THE WEEKOver 38 years this play has been a reader favorite and now has a com-bined record of 58% winners over 38 years!! Outright upsets have been a major theme in recent years including one outright winner already this season!! Here is This week's Underdog Play:

Duke +6 over VIRGINIADuke over VIRGINIA - FORECAST: Duke by 1 - Virginia is 5-0 SU/ATS in this series. Duke has a huge edge having played 2 games while Virginia is playing their season opener after having last week’s game against VTech cancelled. The Blue Devils were much more competi-tive than the score suggested in their 26-6 (-5’) loss vs BC last week where they were only outgained 384-351 but had 5 TO’s including 4 that ocurred inside the BC red zone. UVA has 15 starters back and they did add 4 FCS grad transfers but they must replace their All-ACC QB who also led in rushing. The Duke secondary looked vulnerable last week but hard to imagine UVA’s pass offense is crisp with 3 of their top 4 WR’s and QB gone. Duke has 9 sacks in their first 2 games but UVA does have all 5 starting Oline back. The Blue Devils are 7-3 as an AD and we think there is value here coming off a deceiving loss. We've had a lot of success with this game going back to our first two September 5H's in 1984 & 1985 and we don't mind going back to the well for this week's Underdog POW!

LA CHARGERS by 8 over Carolina - Following an OT loss against the Chiefs that saw the starting debut of rookie QB Herbert (22-33-311-1-1, rush TD), the Chargers are back in LA for a 2nd consec week to take on a Panthers squad that’s sitting at 0-2 after a 14 pt loss a week ago in Tampa where RB McCaffrey left early with an ankle injury (CS). In their last matchup back in ‘16, the Panthers won for a 4th time in 5 tries (3-2 ATS) thanks in part to a +4 TO edge. While the Panthers have picked up ATS wins in 10 of their L/15 against the NFC, the Chargers looked like a completely different team a week ago with Herbert under center. We’ll call for that momentum to continue in this one as the Panthers have failed to cover 9 of their L/10 overall.ARIZONA by 9 over Detroit - After an 0-2 start inside of their DIV to start the 2020 campaign (GB 488-307 yd edge in 21 pt win), the Lions head to the desert for the 2nd consec year to take on a Cardinals squad that’s sitting at 2-0 following a road upset of SF and a home win a week ago against WAS (438-316 yd edge). In that previously mentioned meeting a season ago, the Cardinals (QB Murray’s 1st start) stormed back from a 24-6 deficit in the 4Q in a contest that would eventually end in a 27-27 tie. With the Lions having failed to cover 10 of their L/11 coming in and ARZ extremely confident in year #2 of Kingsbury & Murray, the home team gets the call here.Tampa Bay by 3 over DENVER - The Bucs picked up their 1st win of the Tom Brady era a week ago at home against the Panthers behind a 103 yd, 2 TD performance from the newly acquired Fournette (CAR 4 TO’s). They now head to “Mile High” to take on an 0-2 Broncos squad that fell by 5 a week ago in PIT with QB Lock and WR Sutton leaving with injury (CS here). These 2 have met on 4 occasions dating back to ‘04 with DEN winning all 4 (2-1-1 ATS) by 9 ppg. While most games are being played with limited or no fans, the Broncos may have the biggest homefield edge in 2020 with teams coming in even later and having no time to adjust to the elevation. With DEN 9-2-1 ATS as a HD and 20-11-3 ATS against the NFC, we’ll call for them to stay within the line in this one as QB Driskel (18-34-256-2-1) looked solid in relief against a solid PIT defense.Green Bay at NEW ORLEANS - SNF - The Saints are back in primetime for a 2nd consec week as they return to the Superdome following a MNF trip to Las Vegas. The Packers meanwhile are sitting at 2-0 following a 21 pt home win against the Lions where they finished with a 488-307 yd edge. In their most recent meeting back in ‘17 the Saints went into GB as a 3’ pt dog and came away with a 26-17 victory (GB QB Rodgers out w/inj). With the Packers having covered 4 of the L/5 as an AD, something will have to give in the “Big Easy” as the Saints have covered 12 of their L/15 as of presstime. Call the office on Sunday after 11am EST for tonight’s Marquee Winner!Kansas City at BALTIMORE - MNF - The top 2 teams in the AFC a season ago square off in Wk 3 as the undefeated Chiefs (OT win over LAC for 8th straight reg ssn SU win) head to BAL to take on the 2-0 Ravens (17 pt win LW at HOU, 14th straight reg ssn SU win). In their Wk 3 meeting a year ago in Arrowhead, the Chiefs (-5) jumped out to a 23-6 HT lead before needing to hold off a late BAL comeback attempt (33-28 win). KEY SELECTIONS4H ATLANTA over Chicago - Following their 1st 0-2 start in 14 yrs (1 pt loss LW at DAL where they led 29-10 at HT & 39-24 w/7:57 left, DAL GW 46-yd FG as time expired), the Falcons return home looking for their 2nd consec win against the Bears. The previous meeting took place back in the ‘17 opener with ATL (-7) finishing with a 372-301 yd edge in the 23-17 victory. CHI is sitting at 2-0 on the year after a 4 pt win over the Giants (3H LP Winner on NYG +5’). While the Bears did work some magic on the road earlier this year scoring 21 unanswered points in their comeback win over the Lions, we’ll go ahead and call for the Falcons and HC Quinn (back on the hot seat) to jump ahead early on in this one and coast to an easy victory. FORECAST: ATLANTA by 103H SEATTLE over Dallas - Following a solid home victory over the Patriots to move to 2-0 on the year (QB Wilson 5 TD passes), the Seahawks host a Cowboys squad that they’ve won and covered 3 of the L/4 against. The only loss in that span did come in the ‘18 postseason however with the Cowboys escaping with a 24-22 home victory (DAL 380-299 yd edge). The Cowboys are sitting at 1-1 on the year after a shocking comeback victory at home against the Falcons (trailed by 9 with under 2 min remaining, DAL 570-380 yd edge). While SEA is just 7-12-1 ATS as a HF coming in, injuries on both sides of the ball are already starting to take a toll on the Cowboys which could very well cost them in this one. FORECAST: SEATTLE by 11

OTHER SELECTIONS2H MINNESOTA over Tennessee - The Vikings are sitting at 0-2 for the 1st time since ‘13 following a 17 pt loss at IND where QB Cousins was just 11-26 for 113 yds and 3 int! They now take on the Titans in their 2nd of 3 consec matchups against the AFC South (trip to HOU on deck). The Titans meanwhile are sitting at 2-0 after yet another narrow victory LW at home against the Jags (JAX 480-354 yd edge). In their trip to Nashville for the ‘16 season opener, the Vikings (-2’) overcame an early 10-0 deficit in the eventual 25-16 victory (TEN -3 TO). With MIN now covering 4 of the L/5 in this series dating back to ‘01 and going 14-4 ATS as a HD, we’ll call for them to get into the win column for the first time in 2020. FORECAST: MINNESOTA by 6

OTHER PLAYSMiami at JACKSONVILLE - Thursday - Following a home defeat against the Bills where they got the late ATS cover w/:49 remaining (BUF 531-408 yd edge), the Dolphins head 350 miles North to take on a Jaguars squad that nearly earned their 2nd consec outright upset LW in Nashville against the Titans (TEN GW 49-yd FG w/1:36 left, JAX 480-354 yd edge). In their late season matchup back in ‘18, the hometown Jaguars (+3’) got a key 33-yd IR TD in the 4Q for the eventual 17-7 victory (19-11 FD and 244-183 yd edges). While MIA is a porous 3-10 ATS in NDIV AG’s, the Jags have covered just 4 of their L/10 overall heading in. We’ll have one of our Marquee selections available after Noon EST on gameday.NEW ENGLAND by 10 over Las Vegas - Rough spot for the Raiders in this one as they head to the East Coast for the 2nd time in 3 weeks following a MNF home matchup against the Saints. While the Patriots were also out West a week ago to take on the Seahawks in SEA (5 pt loss, 29-22 FD & 464-429 yd edges), they have gone a solid 25-12-3 ATS as a HF coming in. In the most recent meeting between these two squads (‘17), the Patriots (-7) led 30-0 after 3Q in the eventual 25 pt victory in Mexico City (NE 5-0 SU/4-1 ATS run vs LV). While NE does have a key trip to Arrowhead on deck to take on the Chiefs, we have no issue backing them here as the Raiders have gone just 5-10-1 ATS in NDIV AG’s.BUFFALO by 6 over La Rams - After a 3 pt road victory in South Beach against the Dolphins where QB Allen threw for 417 yds & 4 TD’s (MIA backdoor cover w/:49 left), the Bills are back at home for the 2nd time in 3 wks (road trips to LV and TEN on deck). The Rams meanwhile are on the East Coast for a 2nd consec week following an 18 pt upset win at PHI (3H Newsletter Winner) where they finished with a 449-363 yd advantage. The Bills and Rams last met back in ‘16, a contest that saw BUF go into LA as 2’ pt chalk and leave with a 30-19 victory (Rams 23-15 FD and 345-305 yd edges, -3 TO). While the Rams have covered 6 of their L/7 coming in, we’re leaning with the Bills in this one as they’ve gone 11-5-1 ATS vs NFC opponents.PITTSBURGH by 10 over Houston - Following an 0-2 start against the top 2 teams from the AFC a season ago (KC and BAL), the schedule doesn’t get any easier for the Texans who head to Heinz Field to take on a 2-0 Steelers squad who knocked off the Broncos a week ago behind a defense that forced 7 sks and a pair of TO’s. These two last met on MNF at the end of the ‘17 ssn. The Steelers (-9) would jump out to a 27-0 lead after 3Q in the eventual 28 pt victory (PIT has won and covered 4 of the L/5). Despite the Steelers having failed to cover 8 of their L/10 as a NDIV HF, we find it difficult to imagine HOU QB Watson and company finding much success against the solid PIT defense (#2 in ttl defense at 305 ypg) in this one.San Francisco by 6 over NY GIANTS - Following a costly 18 pt win against the Jets a week ago where QB Garoppolo, RB Mostert and DL’s Bosa and Thomas left with injury (CS for Wk 3), the 49ers are right back inside of MetLife Stadium for Wk 3 as they take on a Giants squad who’s 2H comeback attempt LW in Soldier Field against the Bears fell just short (3H LP Winner on NY +5’). In their most recent matchup back on MNF in ‘18, the Giants (+3) got a GW 3-yd TD pass w/:53 left in the 27-23 victory (SF 374-277 yd edge). With 3 home matchups on deck for the 49ers (10-4 ATS as NDIV HF) and the Giants (RB Barkley likely out here) heading away from home the next 2 weeks to take on the Rams and Cowboys, we expect the visitor to take care of business in their 2nd consec week inside of this venue despite a handful of starters questionable as of presstime.CLEVELAND by 1 over Washington - Following a home upset of the Eagles and a road defeat in the desert a week ago against the Cardinals where ARZ had a 438-316 yd edge, WAS heads to CLE to take on a Browns squad that moved to 1-1 on the year following a 5 pt win over the Bengals (CLE 434-353 yd edge, CIN backdoor cover w/:43 left). In WAS and CLE’s last meeting back in ‘16, the Browns fell for a 3rd consec time in the series despite a 380-301 yd edge. While WAS did fail to cover all 4 of their matchups against the AFC a year ago, they have gone 7-3 ATS as a NDIV AD. With the Browns not faring any better against non-conf foes (5-15 ATS), the home team gets the 1 point win here.PHILADELPHIA by 3 over Cincinnati - While the Bengals 0-2 start to the season doesn’t come as too much of surprise, rookie QB Burrow looks like the real deal throwing for 316 yds and 3 TD’s in a 5 pt loss to CLE. The Eagles’ are off to an 0-2 start following an 18 pt home loss to the Rams where LA finished with a 449-363 yd edge (PHI 3 TO’s in both losses). The Eagles have failed to cover 5 consec matchups in this series (1-3-1 SU) including an 18 pt road loss (+1’) in ‘16 where QB Wentz tossed 3 int’s. While PHI has gone a solid 15-7-1 ATS against the AFC, they’ve clearly looked vulnerable so far this year. We’re cutting off our lean at just a FG here as CIN comes in well-rested following a Thur night matchup.INDIANAPOLIS by 12 over Ny Jets - The Jets have clearly looked like the weakest team in the NFL after 2 weeks following another ugly performance LW at home against the 49ers where they were held to just 275 yds in an 18 pt defeat. The Colts meanwhile rebounded from a rough opener at JAX to knock off the Vikings a week ago behind a defense that held MIN to just 11 pts and 175 ttl yds. Surprisingly, the Jets have owned the recent matchups in this series with a 5-1 SU/ATS mark that includes a 42-34 home victory back in ‘18. While the Colts have failed to cover 8 of their L/12 overall coming in, the Jets have routinely struggled as a NDIV AD posting just a 9-22-2 mark.

PP calls for JAX to claim a 3 pt win which is right at the opening line.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27TH Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sLAS VEGAS 345 134 211 16 0 #17NEW ENGLAND 367 108 259 27 +2 #27 The Patriots defense looked unusually leaky LW on the road in SEA. The Raiders meanwhile travel East on short rest following a MNF tilt against the Saints. With LV going just 5-10-1 ATS in NDIV AG’s, we agree with the forecasted 11 pt win by NE above.

2H NEW ENGLAND 27 LAS VEGAS 16 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sLA RAMS 364 115 249 20 -1 #16BUFFALO 367 119 248 22 -1 #28 The Rams and Bills are both off to 2-0 starts following wins over PHI and MIA respectively a wk ago. PP calls for a tight contest here with the Bills claiming a 2 pt win with a 367-364 yd edge. We like BUF a little more however as they’re on an 11-5-1 ATS run against the NFC.

NO PLAY: BUFFALO 22 LA RAMS 20 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sHOUSTON 290 87 203 15 -3 #24PITTSBURGH 369 124 245 27 -1 #4 The Steelers held off a late comeback attempt by DEN a week ago to move to 2-0. The Texans meanwhile continue to play one of the hardest scheduling starts in NFL history following defeats against KC and BAL. PP calls for HOU’s rough beginning to continue here and we agree as PIT’s defense is tied for 2nd in the NFL allowing just 305 ypg.

4H PITTSBURGH 27 HOUSTON 15 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sSAN FRANCISCO 380 160 220 27 0 #8NY GIANTS 280 82 198 17 +1 #22 NY nearly picked up a comeback upset victory LW at CHI (3H LP Winner) while the 49ers are back at MetLife again after knocking off the Jets. Although the 49ers are expected to be missing a handful of starters here, the forecast is solid enough to give them a 1H nod.

1H SAN FRANCISCO 27 NY GIANTS 17 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sTENNESSEE 340 139 201 21 +2 #25 MINNESOTA 380 150 230 25 -3 #15 The Vikings are 0-2 for the first time under HC Zimmer while the Titans have gotten late FG’s in each of their 1st 2 games this season to sit at 2-0. PP calls for the Vikings to claim the upset here and we agree as they’ve gone 14-4 ATS when listed as a HD.

3.5H MINNESOTA 25 TENNESSEE 21 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sWASHINGTON 287 95 192 20 +2 #5CLEVELAND 382 138 244 27 -2 #32 The Browns picked up a home win against CIN on Thur night to move to 1-1 on the year. WAS meanwhile is also sitting at 1-1 after dropping a contest in the desert against the Cardinals. PP calls for CLE to claim a 7 pt win which is right at the opening line. No Play.

PP has CIN staying within 7 here which is right at the opening line. No Play.

CHI on the other hand is sitting at 2-0 with a comeback win at DET and holding off a late NYG comeback attempt LW at home. PP calls ATL by 1 but we expect them to play much better at home in this one.

NO PLAY: ATLANTA 23 CHICAGO 22 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sNY JETS 250 69 181 16 +1 #9INDIANAPOLIS 409 128 281 31 0 #11 The Colts have the #1 total defense in the NFL after holding MIN to just 175 yds in the 17 pt win. The Jets meanwhile continue to have one of the NFL’s worst offenses. PP calls for those trends to continue here and we agree as the Jets are just 9-22-2 ATS as a NDIV AD.

3H INDIANAPOLIS 31 NY JETS 16 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sCAROLINA 326 121 205 17 -2 #18 LA CHARGERS 386 137 249 26 +1 #10 The Chargers nearly pulled the upset of KC in QB Herbert’s 1st career start while CAR are expected to be missing RB McCaffrey here. Too many questions to make this a play.

PP calls for ARZ to continue their winning ways with a 10 pt victory and a 463-379 yd edge. While we agree, 6’ pts is a lot to lay.

The Bucs meanwhile got a late TD against the Panthers for the frontdoor cover LW at home. PP calls for TB to claim a 2 pt win in this one and we agree as DEN is an outstanding 9-2-1 ATS as a HD and showed some courage late LW against the Steelers.

1H DENVER 22 (+) TAMPA BAY 24 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sDALLAS 454 137 217 23 -2 #30 SEATTLE 379 122 257 28 +1 #7 The Seahawks offense has been top-notch so far in 2020 with wins over the Falcons and Patriots. The Cowboys meanwhile got an amazing comeback against ATL LW at home to avoid an 0-2 start. While PP calls for SEA to claim just a 5 pt win, we like the home team by much more in this one as DAL is banged up on both sides of the ball.

NO PLAY: SEATTLE 28 DALLAS 23 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sGREEN BAY 324 105 219 20 +2 #26NEW ORLEANS 396 132 264 30 +4 #3 The Packers are sitting at 2-0 following DIV victories against the Vikings and Lions. The Saints meanwhile return home on short rest following a MNF tilt against the Raiders. While PP calls for NO to grab a 10 pt win, we’re passing on this one at the moment as GB has covered 4 of their L/5 as an AD.

The Ravens have posted convincing wins against the Browns and Texans while the Chiefs actually needed OT LW against the Chargers to remain undefeated. PP calls for BAL to claim an 8 pt win here but it’s worth meantioning that KC has won 3 straight in this series.
