“I am NDSU” Poster Series

In the spring of 2013 the

Office of Multicultural

Programs and NDSU Li-

braries collaborated on a

poster series called “I am

NDSU.” This poster se-

ries featured Native Amer-

ican students graduating in

the spring of 2013. The

focus of these posters was

to encourage prospective

and current students to be

proud of their heritage.

In a continued collabora-

tion between the Office of

Multicultural Programs

and NDSU Libraries, the

“I am NDSU’’ poster

series continues with six

new posters featuring a

diverse group of individu-

als from freshman to

seniors. The posters were

displayed in the Memorial

Union in March.

In continuing with the

theme of “I am NDSU”

and “Honoring my past.

Building my future,” each

student shared a quote

related to their experiences

at NDSU.

We welcome you to come

check out on the Office of

Multicultural Programs

Website under “I am

NDSU” link

Here are some quotes you

will see on these posters!

“NDSU’s school spirit has

a lot to do with the univer-

sity’s ability to be welcom-

ing to all people. School

pride truly brings people

together “

Abigail Hayes

“NDSU goes above and

beyond to help create

opportunities for students

of all races to achieve

academic success”

Barry Jennings

“NDSU is a great example

of a diverse campus. I

have met many people

from around the world

and I love that the campus

has so many international

students”

GaoSeng Yang

“NDSU has a strong mul-

ticultural student popula-

tion. The university offers

many opportunities to

students with diverse

backgrounds”

Andre Marin

and diverse cultural tradi-

tions found in countries

across Africa. Some of the
