Affiliate Member Application Your Information Name: Marcus Kelcher Address: 19625 Audrey Street City, State Zip: Gretna, NE 68028 Best Phone: 402-990-7351 Email: [email protected] Nebraska State Soccer is a membership organization that is not required to accept all membership applications. We expect our Affiliate Members to be sustainable, so we ask that you have a plan and vision for growth and sustainment of your club prior to being accepted. Intentionally falsifying information on this application will cause your application to be denied or if already approved your membership will be revoked. All new Affiliate Members must have a recreational in-house program U6 – U10 age groups. We would prefer this be in place before being approved, but must be in place and registering players within three (3) years of being approved or your membership status could be revoked. You will be required to have practice and game fields secured, or a plan on how you will secure this requirement, and host or promote one Coaching Education License/Diploma/Clinic per year. We would also ask that you recruit referees and promote the Referee Education Courses to your members.

Understand that submitting this application is no guarantee that you will be accepted for membership. Once application is received, you may be asked to meet with your District Commissioner and/or a representative of the State Office to further discuss your application for membership. We are not in the business of signing up one team clubs; we are here to create members clubs that offer all levels of play. You must have at least four (4) teams or a solid plan on how to form teams to apply for membership.

There will be a three (3) year probationary period for all approved Affiliate Members. Any issues or violations of existing National, Regional, State or League bylaws/rules/policies during the probationary period will require you to come in front of the Board of Directors and explain why your membership should not be revoked.

Club Mission Statement Elite Girls Academy is Nebraska’s premier female soccer club. The club was founded with the goal of providing the opportunity for athletes to train, play, and compete at the very highest skill level, ultimately leading to the award of collegiate scholarships at some of the nation’s top schools, opportunities for US youth national team selection and a developmental pathway to the NWSL. Our program is designed and tailored for training and mentoring player’s who have the desire to hone their skills, have fun, yet compete and win at the state and nation’s top levels of competitive soccer. EGA has the tools to provide a safe, fun, and professional development environment with the high potential of leading to collegiate level play. Club Vision To create the most unique, competitive, exciting soccer developmental environment in the Nation. An environment that fosters excitement, fun, and a contagious passion for the game. A place that Elite Girls Academy players love to be and others wish they were in. Club Identity To provide the state of Nebraska with a second to none developmental soccer experience for female soccer players U4-U23. Club Style Of Play At Elite Girls Academy we have instilled a club wide “possession with a purpose” playing style. We feel that it is imperative for our teams to embrace the idea that possession of the ball is a priority and something that each individual team must embody. With that said, we also feel that the idea of possession can be often times misinterpreted. We want our players to have the ability to recognize when good penetration opportunities have been created due to good possession moments and once recognized the penetration must be performed with speed and good technique. We value a balance between the need for athletes and playmakers and we challenge both set of players to improve their inefficiencies on a weekly basis.

Teams are encouraged to be creative and innovative within their play and as a staff we take great strides to completely eliminate the fear of failure at all levels of competition.

WHAT IS ELITE GIRLS ACADEMY?

Elite Girls Academy (EGA) is Nebraska’s premiere female soccer club founded with the goal of providing the opportunity for female athletes to train, play, and compete at their highest skill level.

The program is designed for training and mentoring players who have the desire

to hone their skills and have fun while competing and winning at top competitive

soccer levels. With our highly regarded coaching talent that is fully accredited

and recognized on the national level, EGA provides an environment that is safe,

fun, and professional. The EGA experience and training can ultimately lead to

collegiate scholarships at some of the nation’s top schools, opportunities for U.S.

Youth National Team selection and a

appreciation and cooperation, apathy,

confidence, and commitment.
