In accordance with diocesan policy, when a single act of sexual abuse is admitted or established, the offender is to be removed permanently from ministry.
To help hold offenders accountable, report all abuse to local public
authorities. You can also contact your local diocesan victim assistance coordinator to make a report and seek outreach for the abused.
Every child deserves a safe environment.
Ministry to children and young people is a privilege, not a right.
The sexual abuse of minors is a crime and a grave sin.
SPIRITUAL HEAL TH
Mass has been suspended throughout the
country. Fortunately, technology allows us to
engage in the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
virtually, and grants us the solace of knowing that
Eucharist is still being celebrated even though we
cannot directly participate in it. The USCCB has
put together resources for spiritual engagement
during this time of quarantine.
• St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City is
streaming Masses. Eucharistic Adoration. and
allows you to light a virtual P-ray.er candle.

Prayer During a Pandemic
May we who are merely inconvenienced remember those whose lives are at stake. May we who have no risk factors remember those most vulnerable.
May we who have the luxury of working from home remember those who must choose between preserving their health and making their rent.
May we who have the flexibility to care for our children when their schools close remember those who have no options.
May we who have had to cancel our tripos remember those that have no safe place to go.
May we who are losing our margin money in the tumult of the economic market remember those who have no margin at all.
May we who settle in for a quarantine at home remember those who have no home.
During this time of social distancing, let us yet find ways to be the loving embrace of God to our neighbors.
Amen.
