Joe was born on September 9th 1960 in Pawnee, OK to Jess and Mary Estes. Joe was raised by Aaron Dean and Mary Lee Brown. They lived in Cushing, OK, where he attended Cushing High School. He also attended Meridian Vo- Tech in Stillwater, OK and Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, OK. Joe met the love of his life and soul mate, Marry Rhodd in 1978 and married her in 1993. Joe and Mary Estes lived in Cushing, and have three children. Joe’s career was being a mechanic since the age of 4. He was a “Jack of all trades” and “honey dipper”. He was employed by his second family, at Tubby Houston’s Asphalt of Cush- ing for most of his life. He also worked for Curtis Sam’s Body Shop in Cushing for many years. Joe’s last job was for his tribe. He was building and fixing all kinds of things, which he loved, at Sac and Fox Nation in Stroud, OK. Joe enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and his hobby of working on classic cars and trucks. Joe is proceeded in death by his father, Aaron Dean Brown, his grandparents, Raymond and Marie Tyner, and one brother, Cody Ray Tyner. He is survived by his wife of the home, Mary Estes, two daughters, Brandy Slick of Prague, Laura Lee Estes of Cushing, and one son of the home, Taylor Edward Estes; his mother, Mary Brown of Cushing and his adopted father Jamie Noble of Stroud. Joe is also survived by his five grandchildren, granddaughters, Twana Gibson and Javenlynn Estes Wulf, grandsons, Jonathan Hernadez, Land- on Estes, Nicholas Pool, and one great-grandson, Gabriel Hilton. Joe is also survived by three sisters, two brothers, numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and other family, and many many friends. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. A graveside service was held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Sac & Fox Nation Cemetery. Viewing was held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, No- vember 17, 2016 at the Sac & Fox Nation Community Center. Joe Edward Estes “Indian Joe” Dorothy Allene Bohannan, known to many as “Sue” was born June 21, 1923 to Eugene and Lillian Wakolee. She passed from this life on Monday, September 19 at the age of 93 in Santa Rosa, California. She was married to Clarence E. Bohannan (“Tiney”) for 47 years prior to his death in 1996. Dorothy is survived by daughter Myra Bohannan (Santa Rosa, CA) who had been her devoted caretaker throughout her later years in life. She will be sorely missed by daughter and son-in-law Kathleen and Andrew Cardenas (San Gabriel, CA), as well as her beloved grandchildren Benjamin and Julianna Cardenas. In the early 1940’s during World War II, Dorothy worked at Douglas Aircraft/ Tinker Field in Oklahoma City, along with thousands of other Oklahoma women de- scribed as the famed “Rosie the Riveter”. Her love for airplanes continued through- out her life. She enjoyed watching airplanes and traveling by air. The day she was laid to rest at Shiloh Cemetery in Santa Rosa, California on September 24th, the Wings Over Wine Country Airshow was also taking place. Coincidently her service began with a fly-over of three side-by-side WWII airplanes. Three people she most admired were Gene Autry, Oral Roberts, and Ronald Rea- gan. One of her most cherished possessions was an autographed photo from Gene Autry. In her home she displayed numerous items received from the Oral Roberts ministry. And, she always had a Ronald Reagan calendar within sight. Except for the last four months, she lived a quiet, private, simple life in her own home. She spoke frequently of making just one more trip back to Oklahoma. The world lost a gentle soul on November 17, 2016 when John Edward Gibbs, known to many as “Sonny Boy” or ‘Johnnie” passed away at his home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma at 87 years of age. Born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to the late George hunter Gibbs and the late Mollie (Grayson) Gibbs on July 15, 1929, john spent his early years working and living with his family on the property of prominent citizen and creek Indian Woosie deer, while helping his family make ends meet selling cotton. The summer after 7th grade at Gar- field elementary, he left school to join the work- force for good. A few months after his 18th birthday John enlisted in the army and trained with the 45th Infantry “Thunderbird” division in Fort Sill, Oklahoma before doing tours of duty in Korea and Japan. John retired after 28 years in the aeronautics industry with Spartan and Macdonald Douglas. His brothers, Robert Lee Gibbs, Frank Leslie Gibbs, Sandy Ervin Gibbs, Leon Gibbs, and Richard Gibbs precede John in death. Surviving family members are his wife, Shirley F. Gibbs and siblings, Mona Mae Gibbs, George “Hoguy” Gibbs, Mary “Gertie” Tochee Gibbs, Bert “Jack” Wiley Gibbs, and Charlie “Ike” Gibbs. Sure to miss him dearly, but remembering him always are John’s grandchildren, Tina King, Jennifer Gibbs, Corey Gibbs, Ira David Gibbs, Timothy Gibbs, Christina John Edward Gibbs King, Joshua McClain, Britney McClain, Rodney Gibbs, and Roxanne Gibbs as well as many great-grandchildren and adopted family members. Joe passed away on Tuesday November 15, 2016 at his home in Cushing, OK at the age of 56.

Joe was born on September 9th 1960 in Pawnee, OK to Jess and Mary Estes. Joe was raised by Aaron Dean and Mary Lee Brown. They lived in Cushing, OK, where he attended Cushing High School. He also attended Meridian Vo-Tech in Stillwater, OK and Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, OK. Joe met the love of his life and soul mate, Marry Rhodd in 1978 and married her in 1993.
