ServeAnnual Christ Church of Oak Brook Paper Goods DriveSunday, August 6 | 8:00 am - NoonWe will be collecting paper goods for two of our mission partners: By the Hand Club for Kids and the Salvation Army / ChristChurch Food Pantry. NEW items such as paper plates, napkins, paper towels, plastic cutlery, child and adult diapers/Pull-ups,baby and hygienic wipes, facial tissues, and feminine products are all needed. There will be a truck parked in the South lotalong with volunteers to help unload your much appreciated donations.

Samaritan’s Purse Volunteer Flood Clean-Up The widespread flooding that followed last week’s torrential rainstorms caused several nearby counties to be declareddisaster areas. Homeowners in Walworth, Kenosha and Racine counties just north of the Illinois border all suffered particularlysevere damage. Volunteers are being recruited to assist with debris removal and mudouts. Youth aged 14 to 17 are welcome,but must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone.Register directly at: spvolunteernetwork.org.
