the company went public on the Nasdaq in July, 2012. the stock price went up 100% from July 2012 though February 2015. Comp store sales have increased company-wide for 50 consecutive quarters. For the quarter ending 12/31/14, comparable store sales were up 6.2% compared to the same quarter 12 months previous

Located in south-central Kansas on the Arkansas River, wichita is the county seat of Sedgwick County and the principal city of the wichita metropolitan area, which had a 2013 population of over 380,000.
As the industrial hub and largest city in Kansas, wichita is the center of culture, media, and trade. It hosts several large museums, theaters, parks, and entertainment venues, such as Intrust Bank Arena. Several universities are located in the city including wichita State university, the third largest in Kansas.

During the early 20th Century oil boom in neighboring Butler County, wichita also became a major oil town with dozens of oil exploration companies and support enterprises. Most famous of these was Koch Industries, today a global natural resources conglomerate still headquartered in wichita.
