Es wird aufgezeigt, was Deutschlehrkräfte wissen sollten, um Lernende der Sek I und II im Schreibunterricht erfolgreich för-dern zu können. Die Operationalisierung dieses Wissens in Testitems wird erläu-tert. Mithilfe der entwickelten Items wurde das Wissen von 279 Deutschstudi-erenden empirisch erhoben. Ergebnisse der Pilotierung werden diskutiert.
