CONTENTS HOME SWEET HOME!In this edition of Lundby Magazine, we are presenting three inspiring dream homes. Classic Småland is perhaps the highlight, with new features that include opening windows and a wonderful balcony for cosy breakfasts in the fresh air.

For those who fancy getting their toes wet, Stockholm is the perfect place for wonderful pool parties. Grab the chance to swim in the pool or simply relax in a comfy deckchair on the patio. And when you get the urge to revamp the house a little, perhaps an interior design statement such as a beautiful pink spotted bowl or a white furry rug under the living room table will provide the perfect finishing touch. I personally fancy the pink table on wheels on page 18.

If you’re impatiently waiting for the summer holidays, dream of delightful Gotland. You can almost hear the sound of the sea and smell the fragrance from your own vegetable patch. Be inspired by our summer paradise on page 20.

Yum, the smell of freshly-baked bread. Wonder what we’ll get today? Virtually the entire kitchen is full of warm bread, cakes and buns. The family dog is guarding his freshly-baked find under the kitchen table – but the baby of the family is already on his second bun!

PL YFUL Småland offers plenty of space for playing both indoors and out. And however wonderful it is to have an own garden, it’s sometimes nice to play indoors too. Play computer games, perhaps, or just lie on the top bunk and watch.Even the kittens like a little indoor mischief from time to time.

Never a dull moment in the garden. The trampoline has to be tried out and the pedal car must be test driven along the new road. Just keep tight hold of the

steering wheel in the bends. There’s also a lot going on in the rabbit hutch, with many carrots being munched.

There’s no place like our Stockholm home. Because coming home to your own front door is always wonderful. It’s almost dreamy to sleep in your own bed, snuggle up in your favourite sofa and watch a film or read a book. And we always long to dive into our own pool in the summertime!

REALITY?Summer paradise, Gotland, makes holiday dreams come true for the whole family. Long sunny days filled with bathing and ice cream galore is mixed in with working in the garden and pleasant evenings in the wicker rocking chair on the veranda. And the odd homemade summer berry pie also slides down from time to time.

It’s lovely to take an evening shower and then warm yourself in front of a blazing fire.

What’s new in Lundby’s Småland?Our classic doll’s house – Småland – has been given a revamp. The numerous new features include everything from a newly-painted façade, to new wallpapers and textiles in crisp colour combinations, a balcony and windows that open. The garden has also been upgraded with a road, a new fence and flower boxes. And for the final finishing touch: newly-designed furniture to complement the interior design. The interior architects behind the design are Ann Morsing and Beban Nord from Box Design in Stockholm.
