YUPO Non-Carbon Paper

(Pressure-sensitive copying paper) YUPO Non-Carbon is dust-free pressure sensitive recording paper, and used for various books carried in the cleanroom. It is composed of 3 layers and is possible to duplicate 2 to 7 copies by means of combination with below 3 layers.

Description and constitution (1) Top Sheet: coated coloring agent onto the back side of YUPO Paper. Coloring agent means coatings mainly composed of colorless leuco-dye enclosed

microcapsule. (2) Middle Sheet: coated developing agent onto the face side of YUPO Paper, and also coated coloring

agent same as top sheet onto the back side. Developing agent means coatings mainly coatings mainly composed of material that adsorbs and colors the encapsuled colorless dye.

(3) Bottom Sheet: coated developing agent same as middle sheet onto the face side of YUPO Paper. Coloring Mechanism

Coloring mechanism is similar to general non-carbon paper composed of top / middle / bottom sheet constitution. Micro capsule ruptures by means of writing or printing pressure applied on the sheet, and consequently colorless leuco-dye has an opportunity to contact with developing agent so that both agents chemically react each other and result in color formation.
